  • You most certainly were "Marching in the Light of God" what a sense of comradeship from an impromptu performance. Thanks you so much for this posting.

    Alex...

  • Thanks, Alex. Would be nice if we got the whole song, but I'm pleased my wife had her camera handy and caught most of it.

  • Terrific. Just couldn't stop, could you, Raymond? My wife and daughter and I do a trio version of "Siyahamba"---in fact, it's become something of our "signature" performance piece. I'll be posting that one sometime in July! keep 'em coming, sir.

  • I look forward to seeing that video. No, I won't stop yet. I'll aim for 1000. Thanks for commenting.

  • Wonderfully "charged" video. Thanks for sharing...

  • Thanks, Lew. Being part of this choir is one of the things I enjoy most about Hong Kong.

  • Cool video.

  • Thanks Shawn. Glad you liked it.

  • Hello

    Raymond...

That is one VERY IMPRESSIVE male choir! You are all clearly having a joyous time singing together. The tight harmonic convergence is evident in this presentation. I am delighted that you have decided to share this occassion with us. I am a member of The NY Choral Society ( over 100 members but we never sounded as refined and togther as this (even though we will be performing with PP&M this holiday season @ Carnegie Hall on Dec.5.)

    Peace,

    Stewball

  • Thanks, Max. It was a very enjoyable evening, and I'll be putting up a few more extracts during this week. I've sung in church choirs in Australia and a teachers' choir in Singapore, but this one is the most fun of any of them.

  • Amazing atmosphere

  • Yes, and I think this video captures it very well. These guys really know how to enjoy themselves.

  • great one 5 stars

  • Thanks. A bit of a change from just me singing with guitar.

  • that would be a choir ! that's one thing I miss about my parents church was strong four part singing 700+ people, what a sound !

  • Our choir is joining with several others for a Thousand Voices concert in London's Albert Hall later this year. Unfortunately I can't join them due to work commitments, but it will be a great experience.
