The best thing about this game isn't the parrying, it's about how to read your opponents moves like Maken Zero said...and that's why Street Fighter still dominates the fighting game genre.

Street Fighter 3 is on a whole another level of 2d fighting games. More about parrying and tatics. Not just using the great power to kill some one. Even the weakest characters have a good chance. This is a lot of skill. Parrying is hard as well trying to predict people's moves over and over again truly tells you anyone that they have very good timing. That's why this game has youtube videos like this and you can win money. Lots of money. And is shown on Japanese t.v.
