i was gonna try to do this.....then i found out english birch trees have shit bark, even when i found a good tree the bark was just far too thin for the job, think i'll stick to just the sap from now on....

people, all the glue can be replaced with thin, melted pine pitch glue, more natural.

talking of birch bark,as you do, i found an old rotting birch tree waste high,i pushed it over, hit the outside with a stick, the rotting wood fell out, and i was left with a birch bark tube which you can easily make a bucket or container out of ! ahaaa enjoy! i must get out more! thanks ray great channel!

I really think Ray would be completely distraut if the world was without birch bark. I honestly love how versitile it is, as well. I just wish I had more birch in my neck of the woods.

You could use Birch-Tar, instead of glue, of course.
