  • great nozzle work too.

  • good knockdown of the fire. back-up man could've done more to help take some pressure of the line for the nozzleman.

  • @kthejung Anyone should be able to handle an 1 3/4" line alone, especially with a fog tip. That said, he should have gotten off the steps before really opening that line so the back up guy could get closer and do him some good, and even then he didn't lose the line when he did fall. Great knockdown, though. These guys are real pros.

  • Jeeze, is that one dude obsessed with punching a hole in the porch roof or is his pike stuck? LOL

  • @bapabob Venting that roof stopped the spread along the street

  • @bapabob: haha i noticed that too, probie i guess

  • Who was telling you to move, fire or police??

  • @FM291 It was Police but when they were told I was riding along with fire they came back and said it was ok to get closer. ( I was following Eng 50 in my car )

  • @torgeorge Thanks. I been trying to buff philly, and heard that cops sometimes can give a hard time.

  • any lights on the engine?

  • Good Job Lt Jeter.... You guys made 50s look Great!

  • It's ashame what Mayor Nutter is doing to these guys.

  • You can't pay these guy enough! God bless all the Fire Fighters.

  • Oh, OK. Thanks......

  • What time did his happen?????????.

  • @Tmetrvlr This happened in the middle of the night about 3am

  • Every Department is the best at what they need to do for their specific area. You send a city department into a rural area, their water last 6 minutes and their hoses run limp...you send a rural department into a city, and they are inefficient as hell. I come from a mainly City department, surrounded by rural departments. We all do the job, and we are all damn good at it :) (for the most part, cuz we all see some weird shit happen sometimes).

    Stay safe brothers.

  • Nice job! Well coordinated aggressive fire attack. Good job darkening the fire before entry. A+!

  • if any of you have been to philly, you understand when i say a rowhome fire would be scary as hell...it could take out a whole neighborhood if these awesome guys arent there for the rescue

  • shes rocking and rolling

  • at :20 di they put an emergency flood light on the porch or did they fire do that

  • I actually think the camera did that - looks like the camera changed settings or something at that point.

  • that was me turning up my gain on the video cam.

  • if you didnt reply i dont know what i would have thought lmao

  • engine 50 D platoon... my co made this job 3rd in engine, plenty of work for all the co,s... on the box. the tip man was the new guy of the co.... he did an awsome job

  • Great job.

I'll bet that rook was flyin' on this job for days.

Best fire department in the world.

  • damn right man new guy did real good! philly at it's best. good job guys as usual

  • everyone has thier own opinon.. but the only thing that matters is everyone comes home safe and knowing your men did thier best!

  • Couldnt agree more, thats what counts! stay safe.

  • assuming by your name your from the FDNY I wouldnt expect you to say anything else (dept. pride is a must) but being as im from philly you'll have to forgive me if I dont agree lol. Stay safe brother!

  • i can agree with ur aggressuveness but every dept is cocky because they all think they are the best..

  • When the tip guy cant get past the porch the house is lost..

  • believe it or not the men on the tip, this was his first good worker on the tip, Great job I would say
