The thing i find harsh about this is now if he reaches stage 3 he has to do THE ULTIMATE CLIFFHANGER which is an absolute pain to design do to the face the 1st two ledges are underneath an incline on the wall. Hopefully i'll be able to enter by SASUKE 26 or 27. GJ Levi.

nicely done; again though, give the "x" grip a shot, if it doesn't work, discard it.

if not a standard technique hey, you can always use it as a backup plan.

again man; left hand, over the right, and then IMMEDIATELY pull the right hand from under the left, back to a normal hanging position. If you hold the "x" grip too long, you will twist off and fall. The X grip WILL work, but you need to be fast.

look man, I know I'm out of shape, but back when I was, I used to be really good at this sort of thing. If you do not believe the "X" grip will work, then, test it out.

Again though you better have quick hands; the X grip will only work for a split second, before you have to use a normal grip.

I would not recomend using the "X" grip when crossing, just as a technique, to help you hang on. Also those hands of yours better be quick.

Mewenberg you only have three weaknesses;

1) Overconfidence, need to work on your humility, and acknowledge the might of that obstacle course.

2) Hand speed; you may have done a "save" at 0:39 had your hands been quicker.

3) Grip; you will need to be a forearm fanatic.

ultimately though this is just a theory; I tested the X grip myself on a sturdy door frame just now, and yes it will work, but only for a split second before you have to return the hands to their parallel postion.

stop it at exactly 0:39 seconds; right there, you needed an "X" grip, that is, left hand, over the right, to catch yourself, and then from the "X" grip IMMEDIATELY pull your right hand from under your left, and place the arms back to their normal grip.

I know this may seem awkward, but why don't you try an "X" grip? Left hand, over the right. Of course, you can only hold it for a split second; if you had used an X grip at that precise moment, if your hands were quick enough, you could immediately pull the right hand under the left and quickly stabilize yourself.

You actually covered good distance, your only problem was, is that your left hand was grabbing for something that wasn't there.

Watching your first run at Sasuke 20 was actually a pretty big inspiration when I was I just starting out with parkour training at the time. Still keeping at it and making gradual, steady progress -- maybe I'll eventually build a cliff-hanger in my garage too!

He had to qualify through ANW (unlike 21 and 22 he didn't get a free pass through TBS for passing Stage 1 (even though G4 paid for the trip)), The trials were over a week ago and spoilers aren't allowed to be posted (I hear it's literally a million dollar lawsuit for breaking the contract). So we'll just have to wait until the 27th when TBS shows Sasuke 23 before we know.

There is a vid of him in the first round of ANW and he passed the obstacles, don't know how he did after that though.
