Lol I agree about Morgan. And it is great to see EJ and Philip together in a scene. I like that and the episode is ok, but to be the voice of dissent, this is so boring compared to what was going on. I dont like it and I think they put it in bc they didnt know where to go with this. Or they wanted to hold off the good stuff til after the Olympics or something. But they are jumping to much for me lately, one thing to the next without resolving the first thing!
what a pleasure to hear chloe singing something other than opera! she is heart-stoppingly beautiful here! if any of you have seen the film "Lady Sings the Blues" then you'd appreciate how well nadia is channeling billie holliday here. or any other jazz diva. this episode is AMAZING i am LOVING THIS! :D
i was basing my guess solely on that big white flower in her hair lol, but i guess you can fill in any one of your favorites :)
isn't philip surprisingly picture-perfect as the sketchy retro nightclub owner? he really fits the mold of one of those "leading man" types. i am way impressed. ej's not bad either :)
Phillip does play the part, but honestly, I have never been a big fan of Phillip. The older he's gotten, the uglier he looks to me, and not because of his outward appearance either. I think it's just his "I need everything and anything" style personality. He doesn't seem to have genuine concern for others...like Chloe; she seems like a toy for Phillip, you know?
I totally agree about phillip. most of my male movie star crushes are from the old movies, and he certainly looks like he could have starred as a leading man in one of those movies. He has the steely-eyed stare down too.
I've noticed that she seems to do really well in retro scenes...the santini storyline (that lovely blue suit!), and this... she looks like she belongs in one of these black and white movies, and i love "black and whites" ..
Wow! The scene where Philip and EJ are smoking and Chloe is singing is very well shot. Camera angles and lighting in this episode are quite impressive. I'm loving this episode!
This episode is surprisingly enjoyable.

Morgan should have been Phillip's Ciggerette Girl!
Chloe went from Church girl to Sexy Lady!
Lucas is better then Magnum P.I.-case solved less then 30 minutes!

Sami is such a dumb blonde in this fantasy. It makes me laugh. I'm loving these episodes though. It's such a good change of pace.

only a smart blonde can act like a dumb blonde, and make it funny.

Ari Zucker is really pulling off a good Barbara Stanwyck impersonation with this storyline. I'm actually enjoying it.

Yea, I was gonna say more Etta James than Billie, though I'm more a fan of the men of that era anyway

i'm ambivalent about philip himself, but i think as an actor JKJ has improved tremendously. he looks all grown up :)

I always love when they take the fantasy episodes. They're so ridiculous but so neat.

I agree, the storyline is gettig intense and it's kind of fun to see something light for a bit. The actors look like they are having fun too.

And it's so rare to see Philip and EJ in the same scene! They should become friends back in "reality"
