You can see on the retarded pinky that it's Dave Buck :) (And no, this is not meant to be bad response, his pinky just looks very funny).... And of course an outstanding performance, since it's a Buck-brother :)
i like this control pretty much but i think that the last spin move to the top gives it away...i think it would be better if you do that move and then when you come to the last 5 cards or so you change it to an different move to get the card up to the top....but the performance of dan (or is it dave? :) ) is great and really smooth
Nice trick very flourishy but what's the point in loosing the selection in the pack if it's revealed right after the lost as the topcard? Kind of ambitious card and raise rise?
thinking as a lay person, seeing an acr routine then your excuse to do it again in slow motoin showing it rise to the top. there is a point where it still looks impossible to rise up then the whole deck reverses. i like it imo
I've been waiting a long time to see this, unfortunatly, I am dissapointed with it. It looks more like a flourish than an effect. Too much is happening with the hands to make the lay believe that a card is "magically" rising to the top. This is pretty, but doesnt look like magic to a laymen. IMO anyway.
@UnknownMagician93 I absolutely agree. Which is why I still admire the skill and thought process put into this. I just don't rate it as "effect". However, it is a beautiful flourish, which, I'm sure you'll all agree.
@alcoroller IMO as soon as you get out the cards nobody will ever believe it to be magic. I still do it, I mean I'm solely a card guy, but the effect you achieve is different. That doesn't mean however that the outcome can't recognize on an emotional level.
@InfinitiM13 It actually is. Though you can only learn it from their lecture dvd called "twothousandandten". However, Dan actually talked about some on demands, but I'm not really sure if this is gonna be part of that.
do people fall for this?

@alcoroller i agree 100%, but you have to remember, dan and dave dont sell themselves as magicians, they just want ppl to admire their skill

@alcoroller yes im right there with you, respecting the skills, but passing it off as a flourish with a story, not magic

@alcoroller I agree, specially the last spin to the top kinda show how the trick works
But then again, I am not looking at it from a laymens point of view so I dont know
