  • To each their own with the protective gear, but if you're looking for faster acceleration through the gears, ignore the clutch if you're not doing it already. Put pressure in the gear lever and quickly roll off and on the throttle.

  • just letting you guys know that im on my 8th? motorcycle now. put 15k miles on that gen 1 and now have a gen 2 ive put almost 10k on. STILL ALIVE. only close call i've had in the last 6 months was when my honda Fury went into a full on tank slapper on the interstate at 75 MPH, yes i had a helmet on but a helmet wouldnt have saved me from being run over. helmet on or off we all die eventually anyways. in 20 years i'll get to tell my kids how we used to ride with no helmets! times are changin

  • @archetype891 oh on the fury - i let off the gas and it recovered just in time. was surrounded by cars also. 2 of the cars slowed down because they realized what was going on. my butt was completely off the seat, my hands slipped off the bars which made me let go of the throttle, the whole from was wiggling so violently that my right foot came off the peg. i was 1 shake away from being thrown off. pretty sad that this bike has 55 horsepower and its my most dangerous bike.

  • @xtelevisionset wear gloves...

  • @ObiAntKenobi Oh, this isn't my vid. If you look on my channel you can see that I always wear full safety gear. I appreciate your concern, though!

  • at least you were wearing the proper protective gear... oh wait

  • If a deer jumps out of one of those corn fields, you will experience a TRUE death wobble.

  • @xtelevisionset check tire pressure first, some bikes u just cant get them to stop especially is there's an uneven weight load on them. does it do it more if the gas tank is full or empty?

  • @archetype891 Uh, I don't know. Haven't really emptied the tank yet, bought it on Monday and I always fill when I hit reserve.

I did another long sweeper today and made sure my arms were relaxed and I tucked real low and didn't get it.

Still need to check my tire pressure though.

  • i notice this on my vmax in the 60-70 mph range when i take my left hand off the handle bars. (adjust helmet, wipe sweat ect). with both hands on... steady as a rock. i'll welcome any sugestions except keep both hands on. not looking for smartasses. jus real info. thanks

  • @357daedalus put your bike on the centerstand so the front wheel is off the ground, with it off the ground, push the bars to one side and let go. if it bounces up and down multiple times, your steering head bearing is too loose. just use a hammer and big screw driver to tighten it if you dont have the special tool

  • @357daedalus My 05 VMax does the same thing between 30-50 at low rpm's only. Take one hand off...death wobble. Two hands on...rock steady. Highway speeds its as stable as can be.

  • @357daedalus 1/4 turn to tighten your steering head bearing and your good to go!

  • Shorts and a T-shirt. Some people are not smart enough to live.

  • @foxracing279 oh sorry i dont have the newest fox jersey or fox belt buckle or fox wallet or fox pants. dont gotta pose to ride :P

  • @foxracing279 ever heard of fox racing shox? Running dual resovuars in my front end one with beefed up springs in my rear end of my truck. My name has nothing to do with that gay ass company that has no good products. Broke my ankle in a set of their "top of the line boots" and have never bought anything from them again. So as to your comment "dont gotta pose to ride" No you dont, but you can be smart and actually wear something proper. So on an ending note, fuck off.

  • @foxracing279 AHAHAHAH. you replied to yourself. So did you take your advice to fuck off?

  • @amazingascention My bad Mr. Cool Kid, im not a fucking youtube troll. Get a life.

  • @foxracing279 "Get a life" said the You Tube troll dispensing unsolicited wardrobe advice with a side of insult. YOU trolled and got exposed as the clown you are. Aim your rage elsewhere.

  • @amazingascention Lol "unsolicited wardrobe advice" Who the fuck are you trying to impress? You must not ride or else you have not been riding long as your on the side of the jackass topping out his wanna be harley bike in a pair of shorts. Hell go get yourself killed if you want, one less retard roaming the streets.

  • @foxracing279 Get killed? That's hilarious. You are one angry kiddo. So shorts are a life risking wardrobe choice? I never knew. Maybe the rider in this video along with others simply enjoy their freedom to do as they please. And you get right down to name calling. So judgemental, so petty. I'd call you a retard, but somewhere a retard would be offended at the comparison. Nothing about a V-max is "wanna be harley." I ride, not wrench.

  • @foxracing279 wanna be harley bike. That just shows your a dume shit troll ass hole that knows dick about bikes.Harley bikes lol what ever you say dirt bike boy.I'm glad your around wardrobe police. At least he has a helmet on.

  • @johnrhodes101875 Hahahahahahahahahha! Your trying to call me stupid? You said "dume" I assume that was supposed be dumb?

  • @foxracing279 Since you want to be "Mr. Typo/spellcheck" the word you were trying to type is "you're" not "Your".

    Another failed attempt at Trolling.

  • @amazingascention Hey fatty, was I talking to you? If im the troll why do you keep popping up?

  • @foxracing279 Because I like to showcase the blatantly obvious. And I enjoy knowing when you see this alert, you will be mad. Then you will try to come up with a clever comeback....and fail again.

  • @amazingascention lol yeah I sure am mad that some fat douche on youtube is trying to be a timmy tough nuts. Sure pisses me off lol Get real. Ya see I actually have a life, so I could give a fuck what you say or do. Get a life.

  • @foxracing279 Told ya.

  • @foxracing279 No it was Spanish for shit troll ass hole that knows dick about bikes.Again wanna be Harley bike

I,ll give you credit Tee shirt and shorts are not smart but At least he has a helmet on.comparing a V twin to a V four is stupid but you probably didn't know it was a V four.I'm betting your a high school kid, a smart ass and thinks his cool.Thats ok I was a high school kid to once but I had a 87 FZR 1000 loved my helmet on and sometimes dare I say it .I wore a Tee shirt and shorts

  • @foxracing279 dude you posted on MY video and told me to F off? i dont wanna scare you guys in europe too bad but i ride my 200hp gen 2 down this same road with t shirt and shorts and no helmet going WAY faster. i was born free

  • Tee shirt and shorts. Not good.

  • nice wheelchair!

  • I have replaced wheel bearings, and steer head bearings both. Mine did not do it for a little while and is now doing the same damn thing. I notice mine between 28-34mph and between 115-127 mph. I will recheck the bearing pre-load on the steering and the balance of the tires. Thanks guys!

  • @5219sg if its happening at 25-40 mph certainly check the steering bearing first

  • After putting over 20,000 miles on my Vmax, when it wobbles, it's always means for me that one or both tires are not properly balanced. I've heard about lose headsets, but it hasn't been the case for me, usually a loss of a wheel weight.

  • i would not brag about that

  • @utubemelsonricky yep its all fixed now. just tightened steering head bearings and its all gone. they just work themselves loose over time on these maxes

  • Is that a sidewalk or a road? What state are you driveing in?

  • @wwwMrFixer101com road indiana
