  • How did you get Haagse Hopjes in Denmark???

  • I love her blue outfit with the red necklace! It's fab.

  • omg the tin you are using isn't denih but dutch! i have the axact same tin at my home here in Holland :D

  • the only reason i clicked on the link was because i thought it said "make your own cock"

  • @DKMontoya4670 Ohh, that is a GREAT idea!

  • Health and safety wasn't an issue for the making of that clock common sense to clamp the tin down before drilling

  • You can find clocks at your local Goodwill, American Red Cross, or Salvation Army Store for about $1.00. Just take out the parts and you've saved money, as well as helped out those organizations.

  • great idea :)

  • And if you make your very own clock you can see just how much time YOU wasted! Yay you! :)

  • I just buy a clock and take the cover off and the pieces apart and replace the background with something more interesting....

  • How would you know what time it is..... There's no numbers on the clocks.

  • @stuffrocks123 Common Sense you do know how to tell the time don't you.

  • because the number placement is universal and its for decorative purposes only.

  • @stuffrocks123 well these kinds of clocks are more for decor but you can kinda see what time of the day it is

you could add like stripes, dots or numbers if you actually want to know the exact time

  • I LOVE YOUR SHIRT!!

  • Yaaaaay Denmark! ^_^

  • I'd love to see an episode about a more grown up way to decorate for Halloween. Maybe something that does not involve loads of streamers and plastic skeletons.

  • It's not danish, it's dutch and very delicious..

Gosh, I miss Holland and all their weird candy xD

  • what is it?

  • It's bonbons xD

  • It's actually inspired by black coffee and lots of sugar. Where after you downed your cup of coffee there stays a lot of sugar behind.

  • haagse hopjes ! =D

indeed, that tin (and the candies) are very, very dutch ^^ and they still sell those tins in the tourist shops here...we even have a yoghurt version ^ ^''

  • you should really oil your bit if you are drilling through metal. if you don't you could send red hot bits of metal flying around, or catch the material with the bit and . . . well bad things happen.

  • Yeah!! a shoe organizer please!!!

  • That tin is not Danish, it's Dutch. Lol, those candies are very nice.

  • Yes, but in Denmark we have tins from all over the world :)

  • True xD

Denmark doesn't really have any specialities..

    Exept for flæskesteg *love* xD

  • Haha, when i was smaller i actually hated it, but now it's just okay xD

  • Really? I love it !

I pretty much only get it for christmas, though xD

  • So do we, and duck as well xD

  • We do too xD

  • You guys really have to make an episode about organizing shoes! And one about making DIY light fixtures too!

  • What happened to the other puppy that you adopted?

  • I have loads of shoes and keep adding more, is there something I can use to make a shoes rack for my wardrobe which I can add to if (if who am I kidding) needed?

Not a good episode at all, too easy. Don't tell me that woman earns a living from making something a child can make?

  • yes, i need something to organize my shoes too

    please help : (

  • Do you have any idea for DIY Shoe organizer ?????

  • ooh yeah i really need something for all my shoes too

  • WOW! I love this! The puns are endless in this ep. but I love puns! Lolz! great vids and I love Meg's shirt!

  • could we get a link for parts??

  • you could just type it in you lazy ass!

  • Any craft store will have them all together in a kit.

  • yeh but they're expensive.

  • love it! thank you meg :-)

  • i LOVE Meg's shirt :)

  • Neat, but a hole in sheet metal would be a lot easier with a hand punch - no jagged edges or bent surfaces.

  • A tin from Denmark? It says "Haagsche Hopjes", which is Dutch. ;)

But the ideas for making a clock are great! I especially like the clock hands that are curly and old-fashioned.

  • Lol.. Nice vid.

  • Can you say easy money? I bet she charges an arm and a leg for those clocks.

  • Nngh, clock needs numbers on it. I hate clocks without numbers on them. xD

  • lol

  • im a middle schooler and i need help with my desk i need more space anytips

  • i dontwana hear her say the word clock ever again!

  • THAT'S A GREAT CLOCK

  • there is no way you were able to get that tin in Denmark. 1. it's written in dutch, not danish on the tin 2. it says it's from the Netherlands at the bottom and 3. i live in copenhagen and have never seen that product in any stores or second hand shops. so where did you get it?

  • Pretty sure there's still a such thing as imports. And just because you live in Copenhagen doesn't mean you've seen every product ever sold in Denmark. She said she doesn't like to buy stuff new,so what if -- and this might be a long shot -- but what if one of the millions of people living in Denmark bought the tin while in the Netherlands, brought it back to Denmark, and put it in a second-hand shop where, as fate would have it, Andrea sees it and buys it?

    But no... that's IMPOSSIBLE

  • New York Clocks is so rad for making new stuff from old things, and I loved seeing how she does it!

  • round, flat ring is a washer. And so WHAT is the drill bit size that fits mechanisms?

  • oh come on this is so stupid u just waisted a whole episode for something that we all learn at the craft classes in the school ....

  • It's been really cool watching this series from start to where it is now. I love the new intro thingy. Keep up the goodness.

  • You got Haagse Hopjes (from Den Haag, The Hague for you) in Denmark? Wow.. Wish I could get them here in the UK.

  • hahahaha your such a tripper!

  • Cool, but..... she just ruined that beautiful tin..... : (

  • Andrew, that blue/white dress and that necklace you've got on looks so good on you!

  • Wow poor lady probably won't sell any now when it's THAT easy to make them ourselves.

  • that may not be entirely true...there are alot of people that can't really make things too well and those who support people that are this creative...also it'd be cool getting a one-of-a-kind clock (or whatever)

  • Just remember, if you intend to send a clock through the mail don't put the battery in otherwise someone at the mail centre might think it's a bomb and call in the bomb squad......KABOOOOM. Ha ha ha ha.....Great episode Meg.

  • awesome tutorial!!

  • That's soo cool! I can't wait to make one now lol. :]

  • muy practics y bonitos gracias

  • ive always wanted to make clocks!

  • I <3 Decor it yourself!! Perfect for dorm rooms. :)

  • i love the idead

  • You could always revamp old clocks that still have working mechanisms or cheap ones that look nasty? I'm sure that would be cheaper and more convenient than ordering parts online.

  • Decor it Yourself is honestly one of my favourites on Youtube.

  • what size is the drill bit???

  • This is a different segment of Threadbanger. It's Decor It Yourself. READ!!!

  • she sounded like she had a cold...but that was an easy thing that i would love to try.

  • i think she said second hand once when she meant minute hand...

  • i think she meant the second part of the pair of hands.

  • that woman's lisp drove me nuts, but it's still cool.

  • you have 2 make a smaller hole first if not the hole doesn't get clean. And what about the hours?

  • This is amazing, I had just come back from a fair inspired to make a kitty clock. Excellent timing on this one.

  • beepboopbeepbop: Decor It Yourself is awesome in the present or future.

  • todays my b-day

  • happy b-day

  • thnx

  • cool

  • im going to make a clock of an old vinyl record :D

  • Cool idea!

  • For some reason I feel like I had watched this DIY video before. It felt very deja vu to me. o.O

  • lmao, same feeling

  • Wow, how cool to see what Meg will look like in THE FUTURE! Awesome episode and such a green project.

  • should do watches (wonder if i spelled that right?

  • could you please please do a video about how to fix up an old dresser?

  • those clocks are cute.

  • september 15 is also most central american countries independence

  • DENMARK!

(I comment that everytime I hear about MY country xD)

Really cool episode! :D I did a clock a long time ago with an archery face xD

    Because I am an archer

  • weird WTF

  • SUCH a cool episode! You could make so many different designs with this idea. Rad guys!

  • Don't turn your clocks backwards! It can damage the mechanism!

  • thats pretty cool

  • She tells people to use eye protection and then she doesn't? Yikes!!! When drilling through metal or other hard materials, COVER! YOUR! EYES!

    A 4-star DIY idea, though.

  • uh what was the drill bit size?

  • Depends on your mechanism.

  • this made my day!

  • <3 thank you guys so much :D :D :D

  • woa...cool

  • very cute!

  • coool

    !!!!!

  • damn, what's with the bad quality of the video?

  • It takes a bit for the good quality to come up. If you watch it right when it shows up, it gives you bad quality. Don't know why but that's just how it's working at the moment.

  • Every single week youtube takes about an hour to up-load the best quality. Every single week the quality isn't up to par the first hour, but then it always gets to how it should. It's youtube.

  • Sweet, I want to do this

  • 3rd??

  • 5* for DIY!
