Saw only one technique with the watercolor and it was let gravity take it's course with the water. There wasn't much watercolor manipulation to strenghten image suggestions. I've seen some artists have worked their canvas at different angles to get various water drip speeds (directions) Well, best of luck as you grow with your skills.
love the approach...refreshing...creative use of medium...I'm not a fan of the latest trend of painters showing off their abilities of photo duplicaton...boring waste of time...
Your work is stiring and beautiful....Thank you for sharing
Amazing! I am astonished at how elegant it was to watch! I am trying to begin painting with watercolor but I am too meticulous I think...what advice would you give to someone just beginning?
When I paint a video, it is very different than just painting. You have to work fast and hopefully it will turn out ok. However, I have done many watercolors of all techniques. It does take a lot of practice to paint in this fashion. i suggest that you practice just putting the paint on the paper and use a lot of water and study the results.and not to worry about getting great painting.
How do you paint so freely with watercolor? It seems as if by the start your drawing does not look so great but then in the end its amazing! It seems that this happens with every watercolor video I see. Any suggestions for starting a watercolor painting, as I am a beginner?
i Like the sky and the contrast of the moon between the trees.....its a very nice painting of that kinda of watercolor style =)...the reflection in the water is cool too.
this was like watching a horrorfilm, it is gettin worse and worse! this is just muddy grey something without details. Take a look at bill alexander or Bob Ross wonderful clear landscapes. It makes you feel happy and free. But this..this was shocking. I am sorry
@Giomyrosario Paintings like this isnt meant to be detailed. it's meant to express mood and atmosphere more than it's meant to show anything concrete. it's actually brilliant how she lets the water run down and they eventually become reflections of the images on the upper half of the painting. what i'm still confused is how much layer she's using before the painting's finally finished. Cheers!
@tomassoe I almost didnt put this video on youtube. I did have trouble with it. But in the long ruun---- it did nt turn out too bad. I captured the mood I wanted. Millie

Muddy image. No attention paid to the transparency or pigments. Why bother?

watercolor is difficult....controlling the the flow...moving the color around to resemble
things...and...there are many different styles of watercolor...I think it's bold.
she did it fast....like it was nothing...a random view in her mind...
beautiful. (who cares what anyone thinks, lifes too short)
