Una voz de lírico bellísima (por timbre, color y esmalte). Lástima que la cuidara tan poco (derrochándola con generosidad, eso sí), que apenas matizara y que cantara casi siempre en forte. En todo caso uno de los grandes tenores del pasado siglo (que dio tantos).

Je crois que c'est une des plus belle interprétation de cet air que j'ai entendu, Carreras est Magnifique, de plus je possède 2 live de cet opera chanté par Caballe en 1976; Tokyo et Paris (avec Domingo) elle chante admirablement et je trouve stupide les gens qui s'en prennent a son physique.

Carreras was the greatest tenor of the 1970s, and if he had not become ill he would have outshone Pavarotti and Domingo.
