  • By the way; I don't remember what size that quinto is. Kalani brought it to the session; bless him.

The Drumpath Rhythms DVD includes Seven "Generic" rhythms, demonstrated--as this video shows--on the up, the down and the side beat, as well as in ensembles, and with them in various arrangements and orchestrations.

  • Well, we're designing the DVD box now. Drumpath Rhythms is being released as a combo: DVD and CD with 70 + pages of text in PDF format. Available REAL SOON!!!

  • Go Sule mon, go! Sounds great and builds nicely!

  • You all look so happy to play that and I love that : That IS music :] Keep going that way men

  • @sordicompte , we were having a lot of fun. It was challenging & funky for the other folks, & I was excited to have folks to work with who could execute what I asked. It was great!

  • Is this guy in the middle playing 10" Skin on Skin quinto or 11"?

  • Looks great!

  • @isladrum thanks so much! It was so much fun to do, too..and it's fun to play!

  • Wow! Sounds awesome!

  • This looks great Sule. The book sounds like it will be way interesting too.

  • Glad it sounds so. Can't wait until it's duplication's done and it's finally "alive" on its own! Whew!

  • Excellent Sule!!! Very nice job!... And it's great to see Kalani in there too : )

  • Hey, there! Glad you like it. Yes; it was great to have Kalani there....

  • Wow! Great camera presence, and amazing production value.

This reminds me of a time in my life when I would go to a place called the Orpheum in Long Beach. There would be 100 plus people each weekend with drums, and other percussion instruments. It was amazing when everybody got going in a groove.

I just went for the Hacky Sack playing that you so often find in Hippie environments. But, I appreciated the drum circle.

  • Wait until you read the book that goes along with the video. I discuss drum circles in their historical and cultural context....
