All my life I was brought up to believe that credit cards were the ultimate evil. Yet, my family members were users. I was astounded when, in Colorado I met an Automobile Dealer that would not sell me a car for cash, fully paid unless I had credit first. I thought have these people turned into idiots? You really wont take payment in full in cash unless I have a credit record? So I tried to build a credit record. The credit industry is built on nothing more than stealing your money fast.

I went to buy a car at my local dealer and after I told him "I'll take it", he told me I didn't have enough credit for a loan.....
I asked him why he looked up my credit as I pulled out my wad of cash.
He said, "Everyone gets a loan".
I walked out and went across the street to buy my truck.

This was great, you should definitely send it to Dave Ramsey he'd get a kick out of it. That book totally changed my LIFE...(total money makeover that is). I remember when i cut up my credit cards, what an awesome feeling. Congrats and keep up the good work!

My husband's grandmother has stuck her credit cards in her deep freezer, so if she ever wanted to use them she could'nt since they were frozen solid.
