Actually, Kira gets whooped quite badly by another female - Mareel, the one who was with Verad trying to steal the Dax symbiont. Superb scene where a fight escape sequence breaks out, and Kira appears to dominate but then gets humiliated by Mareel - to where we learn she grew up on some mean streets. So yea, Kira can and has been beaten, by another female.

All these people saying that all the fights in Star Trek are completly unrealistic. For the most part, I agree with them. However, at 0:10, Kira knees a guy in the balls, you hit a guy down there, they are going to be in serious pain.

She doesn't stand a chance... it's physics.

I think a blow to the back of the head is a lot more likely to knock someone out than a pinch to the shoulder (which seems to work equally well on all humanoid species for some reason)

@GeneralGrin You gotta love the hollywood knock out though. In real life, a blow powerful enough to knock someone also has a cause to cause brain damage, hemorrhaging, and weird deaths like bits of bone shoved into the brain. I am not saying this would happen all the time, but at least 60% of the time, the knockout shouldn't work at all, about 10% of the time, it should seriously injure, with around 1-0.5%, outright kill or kill within a few days.

@GeneralGrin vulcans are 4x stronger then a human because of dense "Muscle" not bone tissue. And the neck pinch works well on all humanoid races because the Preservers, the first sentient race in the galaxy planted their dna throughout the galaxy so almost all the sentient races are similiar to their apperance

@EmperorJim it's not all about size.There are many very good martial artist that don't weigh more than 150 pounds and would be able to take a man who was 200 -250.Size does matter some in martial arts but I think technique matters alot more.

That said the double hands thing across the back would hurt.Maybe put your enemy out if they had no more stamina left but given how early it was in the fight I doubt it would do much more than get your opponent angry.

@gamesmaster35 Agreed it's not all about size, but she is fighting other trained soldiers. So unless we assume her training is just that much better it's ridiculous that she is kicking the ass of men three times her size

Kira is simply awesome.. but the strength depicted in these scenes is just not plausible. If somehow Bajorans were super strong, wouldn't male's overpower the SHIT out of her? Unless the specific circumstances were that in Bajoran women in particular had physical prowess somehow (despite being 100 lbs).. or Kira is just a one-of-a-kind superhero, lol. Always loved the ridiculous double fist thing that EVERY single person in DS9 uses, hahaha. ARM MACE, ENGAGE.
