this tutorial also works with regular license plates like dutch ones ore spanish ones, you only have to put a blue part on the left and write with tiny letters NL or E at the blue part. So you aren't doing anything special!!

to make verything easier, befor ya place the decals anywere, get the entire word/sentance/plate number spelt out, then place them, and then size them. i do it and i save a good amount of time

This is a fairly simple tutorial though, and probably something that even noobs could 'master' from the first few minutes of playing this game :P Still it was a good tutorial all the same and you made it as helpful as you could do. Would have been better if some of the camera angles (such as the back) weren't so dark though!

good vid. but instead of starting a fresh on the front bumper, you could have just simply highlighted both layers (box & num plate) using the right trigger and then press to A to bring up the menu. Scroll down to copy (or group if you want it as one layer) and then paste to the front. You can always change the colour of the box later by pressing A to the layer to open the menu and then scroll to change colour (you can also ungroup later as well).

Another thing if you want to make a number plate. Is you do the lettering and number in the creat a vinyl. For saving all the effort on putting the shapes on the cars, you can aswell go to the creat a vinyl ad the shape and put the lettering vinyl on the shape. Then once you are done you can go to apply decal and put the vinyl. Just save the effort. But great job tho.

Not being offensive or rude to your video but I think most racing cars do not have a numberplate in that sense and instead have racing numbers. I think you should have done racing numbers. Plus I think they come with something that shows you where in the world the car is from or something like that.

I did it with a German License Plate which is so much more difficult because there are still left the Euro star on it, and TÜV badge and all that. I do it in 1 hours but it looks slightly better than that from you xD

should go into more detail, do slightly darker peirce behind it but a bit larger for 3rd effect, do screws even with shading on them etc, and can do faded patches and chips on the letters, sounds a bit OTT, but looks good if you go into detail

1. Look at the picture on your computer

2. Turn on Forza 3

3. Got to paint mode

4. Look at the picture on your computer and slowly start copying it to Forza by hand

5. I promise you that is the only way to get a picture from your computer on to Forza

Its not the only way actually! You can use a pc with a capture card and a program called transparent windows and literally trace your pic into forza. Obviously you still have to draw it on forza but you can see the original image through the forza screen which makes it alot easier to do. There is tutorials about that on youtube but I cant remember where!
