I have never seen a system work using a tankless heater, I have been called in to fixed dozens of failed "tankless radiant systems" they all fail because the tankless short cycles and locks out. Tankless Water heaters have very specific flow and input temperature requirements, if it gets outside that range it shuts down. Do it right use a boiler!
@dieseltwitch All that means is the system wasn't installed correctly. As long as you have supply/return setbacks and you have total control over flow in the the system a tankless should work fine.
Tankless are Ok. To prevent short cycling make sure that your water in temp is 15 celsiys or lower
then your out. Tankless have temp sensor on the cold in and if there is not much temp diffrence
it will short cycle
