I like the part at 2:05 with lights of Chicago. Its like city of machines from Matrix, city is a new form of life, its not just buildings and services for people its a living thing and we exist to serve it, not other way around. We cannot control it, we cannot change it, there is no liberty, only web of interactions taking us forward but not as spices but as form of life and representative of evolution and all the interactions trough the time.

@mosstd Time lapse are done with a DSLR they are pictures that are taken in sequence to make a video. Depends on the camera you would need something stable like a tripod and intervalometer ( each are differing of camera make)

This is incredible, i'm making a time-lapse of London and this really is what I strive for it to be like! How much time intervals did you leave between each picture generally and how long were you standing there for shots like Grand Central Station and the shot at 51 seconds in? Amazing work.

Lots of bad things happen around us; government, sickness, natural disators, family problems, ect. However, as you see here everything continues to go on from the people in the city to the stars in space. Kind of gives you that feeling that we will be okay at the end of the day, whatever happens life goes on.

I know that it's probably obvious, but the combination of the music and time lapse are perfect. The beginning starts with the sunset and smoothly goes into dusk. Then when the music builds up, The City Lights emerge, showing how Chicago, New York, and Toronto really are in the midst of night. Then towards the conclusion of the video the setting is changed to sunrise and dawn, and the music dies down again.
