    PPQ

  • how nice!

  • By the way Japanese toy is called DORAEMON ! Beatiful voice & Cute cat !!

  • my Family name is Lorenz, one letter away from half your user name. ie Larenz as opposed to Lorenz. Yes, my brother lived in Hofu in Japan for two years. He likes Doraemon. If you go to his youtube site he sings a couple of Japanese songs. His site is at Pablo668. Thanks for listening and saying hi! PPQx

  • Thank you ! I watched Pablo668's Ruuju no dengon !

You & your brother got talented !

    Thank you again The Lorenz

  • Hey, that was great selection and good voice! What's interesting is most people play the Beatles version instead of the original one which came out in the 40's, I was told. The Beatles resurrected that old-dying song, so to speak, in the 60's and still going strong!

  • I can't say that I've heard the original version as of yet. I'm sure it's great. I must have a look out for it.

  • The original version was kind of slow, sang by the lady in the movie. I saw it only once. Watching your video again, I thought or suggest you should end the song by using F chord on the "you" of "Till there was you" then back to A chord. One last downstroke strumming ends in A6 chord.

  • Thanks I'l have a play with that and try out those chords, thanks. I do tend to leave out some chord changes when I'm figuring them out by my ear etc.

  • Que linda voz !!!

  • Beautiful voice!!!!!!!! From Argentina!

  • thank you Argentina! from me in Perth Western Australiaxx

  • Wonderful job. <3 <3 <3

  • Thanks man! Hey I checked out your vids too. great stuff.

  • Oh thanks so much!

  • That was really nice, i enjoyed that, i sent you my video response cause i sang this song too, i love it! I only wish i could play guitar like you. .lol I'm just now thinking of taking up guitar, i think it may compliment my voice. And don't worry about the mistakes, i had heaps of outakes, i just didn't add them in my vid. .haha

  • Hey, thanks for sending me the vid of you singing. You have a really good singing voice. Thanks for sharing with me. As for the guitar playing, go for it. Don't let the sore finger tips put you off. It passes if you keep at it. You have to develop callouses on your finger tips before it stops hurting. Piano would suit your voice too. You have great mellow tones.

  • This was originally from a show called The Music Man so whoever the composer was for the other tunes must've done this one as well. Smashing job!

  • You have a lovely voice!

  • thanks alot. Nice to have encouragement. Thanks. (:))

  • I know how it feels to love something so much!

And you obviously love to sing!! It would be nice to hear you sing one of your own songs! Do you have any? I was also thinking about starting a competition but not quite a good song competition more like who can write the most ridiculous song!

    What do you think?

Would you enter something to that effect?

You are cool but i see a hint of crazy and fun in your eyes!

  • Thanks again, yes I am a fun lovin' crazy gal for sure. I do write my own songs, but I was hoping to record and release my gear formally before letting it loose on the tube. I was in a serious original band for a good number of years in the late eighties and into the mid nineties. It wasn't well known outside of WA. Once we folded people soon forgot about us too. Thats show biz! he he. do that comp. sounds like heaps of fun. I have a couple of joke songs under my hat that I could put up.

  • that was great darling!

  • Thank you!

  • Beautiful playing and singing. I like how you referenced the cat licking its butt. That is all my cats are good for - trying to gross me out while I am trying to eat. :) Good job.

  • hi Merit, thanks for checking out my vid. If you look closely that cat has no ears. She lost them to cancer. She's really old. She also survived a car mishap. She broke her hip and leg in that clash. Her name is Melma. She belongs to my sister Lisa.

  • Very pretty! Thanks for sharing your gift.

  • Wonderful job there, Helen... on the guitar as well as vocals. Paul Mac would be pleased, I have no doubt.

  • Hi, thanks Mac! There was a bit of drama going on in the house with premenstral sisters fighting so I was distracted. I'm kinda happier doing this vids with the guys too!
