Do 950s produce sooo much more heat than SandyBridge? I have my 2600K at 4.2Ghz with 1.2V and it only goes up to 47 53 55 54 core temps after 30 Minutes Prime. I'm using a NH-D14 though.

@EmperorTerran The Heatsink test rig has a mechanical hard drive dude. I have seperate rigs for seperate things to help save time making videos. This rig has never had an SSD in it :)

Mate this is an air cooler. For water cooling you're using a cooler head - not a heat sink. And that head is connected to a system that has special liquid stuff flowing around the system, getting cooler by a radiator (with fans).

Fantastic video as always dude. I am just wondering how does the silentness of this compare to the D-14? I want to replace my hyper 212+ as it's too loud and when I lower it the cpu gets too hot for like liking so I would really like a silent cooler that can cool effectively.

@CRAKIZGOOD @CRAKIZGOOD To really make your pc faster you need to delete processor-stresser called system32, this is a folder located on the C ( drive where windows is installed ). When installed on the pc it makes it slower.

After you removed it, you will notice that your pc is much much faster, it basicly is a free overclock, you dont even need to buy a better cooler.

Try it, and you will be a happy system32 less pc user, succes guaranteed !!!!!

When you put things like this heat sink on your processor, it doesn't make it faster just by itself. What it does is draw heat away from the processor, which means you can 'overclock' it more without the processor getting too hot and burning out. When you 'overclock' you increase the speed.

So this heatsink doesn't do the job for you, but it allows you to overclock/speed it up yourself.
