  • oh god this made me sick. I'm talking about adding peanut butter. Just found out how horrible it is.

    I'll stick to whey and peanuts seperately and no peanut butter ever again.

  • I didn't have any bananas so I added hot chocolate powder instead and wow it really makes a huge difference. The peanut butter is what really takes the bland taste out of the whey. Next time I'll add a bit more water to take the thickness out though.

  • @nairb2693 Unfortunetly we cannot keep up with the major corporations, we are just a small mom and pop shop so we had to press the pause button for a while

  • im pretty sure the most important rule of bodybuilding is "if it tastes good, spit it out" a good protein shake should barely be tolerable, not tasty. i think this is a good idea, but you should take out the vanilla yogurt.

  • I make my smoothies with some peanut butter and eggs, a banana, milk and whey protein isolate, sometimes. Yesterday, I had a drink made of a banana, an orange (yes, an orange!), a scoop of whey protein, and 2 cups of milk, good stuff.

  • man i wouldnt drink whey post workout. drink carbs post workout. then about 40-60minutes after than eat a protein meal with slow digesting carbs. your body needs to re-fill glycogen after a workout from carbs it doesnt need protein. protein is used to help repair the muscles after the glycogen has been filled. i know your trying to market a product but correct so people can get results and they will still continue to buy your product getting correct knowledge from u

  • One big improvement would be to use milk instead of water. Now if you want it to taste awesome add a banana, and even better would be a squirt of chocolate syrup or even a scoop of ice cream or both. Of course the more calories you put in the better it will taste so it depends on what your fitness goal is. come up to our forum for more help.

  • I depends on your overall goals and diet and activity level. I would say the average person would use once per day immediately after a workout, but I have been known to eat two in a day. Once Post Workout and Once as a snack.

  • Your schedule is good! and it definitely depends on your overall goal. For people really trying to pack on the mass they may have a gainer shake/smoothie up to 3 times per day. Morning, post-workout and before bed. I have even talked with some bodybuilders who will eat a shake in the middle of the night. They set their alarm, wake up, blend then go back to bed!!!

  • wow, thats a calorie loaded shake. If you're trying to be lean avoid using skim milk (use water instead), and the frozen yogurt (use ice cubes instead), and maybe less peanut butter. If your a skinny guy trying to put on mass; great, but if you're trying to stay lean, count those calories.

  • I noticed if you put the protein in first after you drink it, there's some powder stuck to the bottom. This is the kind of shake I make, just without the Yogurt..plus I add Gluten(1 scoop not workout days and 2 scoops after workout) and a cup of raw oatmeal..I use whole milk in mine..

Just like any other food it has calories, so if you eat to much you might put on fat... however in the right amounts you can achieve good health benefits in recover, immune boosting and many others. you should come up to our forum to get specific.

  • Well if you add too much banana it will become too thick for most people. Bananas are an emulsifier. But definitely feel free to improvise and try new things. Let us know what you come up with.
