Pretty sure there are several factors here that contributed to this disgrace. Like 1 truck in 4wd and the other not. Spinning tires is not traction. Nothing says you cant stomp the brakes and watch that chevy frontend grenade like they have a nasty habit of doing on concrete or asphalt when pulling against another truck. Either way the wrong truck came out ontop because the driver wasnt a tard.
@slight87 yet just another person that cant take the truth lol, dont get me wrong i love chevy and dodge but overall a dually just not gonna win,its build for weight support, if u put a 2500 chevy against a dodge 2500 then u might change ur odd a bit, and its also all in traction hence your tires..
I'm a Chevy man myself. And this isn't a fair pull. First off. A dually is not meant for traction. But meant to disperse weight so it can carry more. 2nd. A turbo diesel doesn't make much power until it makes boost. While gas makes instant power. So on a pull. The first to lose traction. Loses. So while the diesel is spooling its turbo and being dragged backwards. When it makes it's power it breaks the tires loose. CHEVY FOR LIFE. But it's an unfair pull.
@cblt2007 I don't understand why people think that HP matters in a put like this. It doesn't matter if you can spin the tires a 2 miles per hour or 30. I could put a lawn mower engine in a truck and geared it way down. As long as it has good tires and weighs more than the other truck it would win.
@cblt2007 all of your statement is true except for the part about traction with the dually the surface area of the duals is twice that of the gasser i would say that it wouldnt help by the fact that it was indeed dispersing the weight causing loss of traction because but due to the fact that its trying to pull a truck that weighs a fraction of its own i do believe that hinders that statement void but idk now im just acting like a rambling troll but i do consider this a testament to da bowtie
I also don't think its a justifiable video because its starts when the dodge is already being pulled backwards. For all we know the dodge dragged it across the parking lot already and left off. Video should've started before either truck touched the gas
DODGE IS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT EVER MADE AND SHOULDNT BE SOLD DODGE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR HAVING THE BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT CARS AND TRUCKS ON THE ROAD
@pickupcowboy ....ya if it were a duramax ....youd have to be an idiot to pull that much weight with a gass motor ... an duramax powertroke an cummins could all pull the weight ... ive lived on a farm my whole life i own a 2001 7.3 powerstroke an my old man has a 2006 6.6 both stock an they can both pull ...we have pulled it all from tractors trailors to dumptrucks ...... dodge is just a name ..whats in it is what makes its power known
ese es um problema en el chofer de lqa dodge la chevy tiene menos fuerza el chofer de la dodge no funciona malisimooo si yo tubiese esa dodge su chevy estaria partido por LA MITAD.. JUUAAZZZZ
Dodge sucks. This video proves it too! The Dodge had a diesel engine, and bigger tires on top of it yet the Chevy still won! I'm a Ford guy but this video is the reason I also like Chevys!
haha hey dumbass its clear that the chevy is in 4 wheel drive. anyone that knows the slightest bit about trucks will tell you that no matter what if you have a truck with 4wd and a truck with only 2wd the 4wd wins everytime. i hate ppl like you who think they know about trucks and all that comes with it but in reality your an idiot.
@russ52oc You're so smart aren't you. First of all it's "you're" not "your" and you're calling me an idiot. Second, there is no evidence showing that either of these trucks were in 2wd of 4X4. You're just mad because Dodge sucks (and sucks even more now) since Fiat owns them. Your comment literally made me lol. Hahahahahaha!!
@russ52oc Even if the Dodge was in 2wd that Dodge has dual rear wheels that's four wheels being powered by the drivetrain. Even if you are right about the Chevy being in 4X4 you're still a moron since the Dodge had dual rear wheels and these wheels are bigger and should have more traction anyway so go sit on that one.
@MrAm727 You get the win for dumbest comment I have ever read. Comparing 4 wheels in the back to full 4 wheel drive, that's just ridiculous. You're saying 4 wheels under the bed of the truck (Lightest part) is just as good as 4 wheels distributed evenly throughout the chassis. Sheer insanity. Traction has little to do with it, its power to the wheels. If the truck is as powerful as it looks, it will just burn them up. Put them both in 4 and show that video.
@MrAm727 Doesn't matter. It's not 1000 pounds in the bed, and you could have drag radials on there and it wouldn't make a difference. All the weight on a pickup is in the front.
you are a fucking idiot. its clear you know absolutely nothing about trucks. your probably sum 15 year old kid that thinks he knows everything. 4 wheels in the rear means jack shit. you need the front and back. go back to whatever google page you got your brillance from. and by the way people that say "lol" are either queer or a chick.
@russ52oc I bet you get your comebacks from the same place you got your knowledge on automobiles. That's funny hahaha. I think it's funnier how worked up you're getting over the whole thing. Do yourself a favor and get out more often you're probably some pissed off hillbilly whose dad is probably your unlce at the same time. This video shoes what it shows which is that Dodge just sucks.
actually dumb fuck i own diesel performance shops all over the nation. funny right? so its safe to say that i do know my shit. and 5 of my trucks have been on diesel magazines nation wide. so just keep up with your such "insulting" comments while ill collect a pay check in a month more then you will make in a lifetime. have fun you imbred bitch... oh and by the way if your going to try and bash someone try to spell right... its UNCLE
@russ52oc Oh wow big man. I bet you made up all of the shit you just said. If you were really that important you probably wouldn't be arguing with me over a youtube video for my entertainment. Hahahaha! I'm sure your Walmart pay check is a lot.
@MrAm727 youre stupid. the duallys spread the weight therefore has LESS grip. more traction maybe, but when you have two wheels on an empty bed let me put it easily for you. if the rear wheels on the chevy and dodge are 1000 lbs, the chevy will have 500 lbs on each wheel. the dodge will only have 250 on each wheel. dodge has more tires and is made for PULLING with WEIGHT in the bed. and chevy was in 4wd. being a grammar / spelling nazi to cover up your stupidity is pathetic.
@machinegunboy98 You're seriously a dumbass if you really think the bed of a truck is that light weight. The weight on the rear axel of any heavy duty truck is a lot more than 500 pounds on each wheel. By the way there is no evidence and nothing that says either of the trucks were in 4x4 or rear wheel drive. Don't you suppose if the Chevy was in 4x4 the Dodge would have also been in 4x4? Just like russ52oc you're just another dumbass whose mad because the Dodge lost.
@MrAm727 not at all. i was puting it that 500 lbs/wheel for you simple-minded people. it would SEEM like the dodge would have more traction because of the duallys, however, the four wheels are designed to spread weight when something is in the bed or being towed.
@machinegunboy98 Once again your stupidity is showing. You clearly have an absent mind. Having four rear wheels weighs the back of the Dodge down more than just two rear wheels. Even if the four wheels spread the weight the rear axel still has the same amount of weight on it dip shit
@machinegunboy98 Hold on since when does less grip mean more traction? LOL! Just think about what you said, just saying! Don't call people stupid when your not thinking too clearly yourself sir.
@PernellDD same here, i was a detailer for a few months at a dodge dealer and it seemed that every newer dodge that was brought in had broken pieces, interior and exterior
@Vaneps0 Yeah, cause the Dodge driver broke the traction and thus, making it pretty much ice for him while the Chevy pulled with ease. It's simple really, wait for one person to break the tires then pull right away. Most people on here just jump to conclusions that it's the truck when in reality, it's the driver.
@Vaneps0 trucks with single tires get WAY better traction then any dually because trucks that have duallys, have them to suport more wieght. when you put somthing in the bed it pushs down on the shocks. like leaf shocks this truck proabaly has. then distrubutes the wieght in to the tires. singles do this well, but duallys do it better because they spred out the wieght more evenly. but when nothing is in the bed its harder for the truck (i'll continue when i have more characters)
Soooo yea, I think the chevy was just pulling the dodge back to the spot they started in after the dodge won, because they were all the way over already.
okay im a chevy guy, but the dodge looked like it was in 2wd, the chevy prolly 4wd if that dodge was in 4wd it wouldve pulled the chevy around the block
this is such an easy thing to do all you gotta do is break until the other morn starts to spin his tires then you just ease on the gas pedal and bingo you fucking win oh yeah 4X4 helps as well
Chevy fans are pathetic. Its like they're blind because they can't see what a shitty Generic truck Chevy is. It has no Power, It breaks down every 60,000 miles exactly, It over heats like a bitch, They won't last for more then 300,000 miles and they're Horrible looking, and the ride is terrible with very poor throttle response. I'd rather have a Dodge over a Chevy but most of all A Ford over both.
@14omega28ok please dont be so harsh. i have a 2001 chevy silverado 1500. she isn't lifted or anything special. but all iv ever had to do is keep basic maintenance on her. she has 276,529 miles on her 100% original drive train. and i got her to pull my car hauler, a 18x8' enclosed. and when i buy a new one it will be a chevy as well. my car on the other hand is in fact a dodge. a 2011 challenger. it of course runs like a top as dus my 1968 charger. i love mopar. but i trust chevy trucks.
@fleebagcoolio2 I don't have much problem with Chevy, Its its die hard fans I don't like. Because honestly I've drove many Chevy's and I just wasn't very impressed it wasn't all that special, it just didn't feel right. Plus they had more problems. But I guess it might be because my Ford is a old thing has no kind of muffler and has a high HP V8 and low geared to hell so I guess I'm just kind of use to that instant all out power and loud roar of mine then with a proper truck lol.
@14omega28ok dont know where you get your information, my duramax has 796k miles on it and has pulled every day since it rolled off the lot with no problems and my last chevy 6.0 gas had almost 500k on it and had no problems and both have tons of power,,,chevy is well known to have the best ride and consistently out performs dodge and ford not by a lot but it does. chevy ford and dodge all make good trucks but dodge hd cummins with manual is good. your comment makes u look retarded
does anyone else notice the lack of smoke coming from the dodges front tires....... i mean i wasnt there or anything but it looks like the chevy was in 4 wheel and the dodge was in rear. and that would make alot of sense in that case why the chevy won
Dually's get off to a slower start so once momentum is lost 4 wheels is better than 6 thats the reason the chevy won and i am a Proud Chevy owner so im just speaking the truth!!!
That's some bullshit the dumbass must not have his 4x4 on cause if he did there is know he can pull a 3500 cummins engines are just to fucking strong to lose to a dam chevy
@MrBballin32 lol do you know what it takes to win a truck - truck pull? its all weight if you get your tires spinning first your gonna lose and as for the video you see the chevy pulling it back to the start so they could see if the chevy can beat the dodge
your all dumb.! any real truck person knows a truck pulling another truck has nothing to do with whos best or has more power, its about who gets the better traction and has the upper hand. now put them in a tractor pull and then compare.!
@mxrmz323 either one could get more traction, and even though hooking two trucks to one another proves nothing really i sometimes do it an I've learned the one who tries to take off first usually loses because they hit the gas an make the tires spin an lose traction trying to get the upperhand when really their messing their self up
THIS IS WHY I HATE DODGE! UGLY; WEAK; BAD PERFORMANCE; ETC........ THEY CANT DO SHIT...! CHEVROLET SILVERADO ALL THE WAY FUCK DODGE LIKE THIS IS IF YOUR A CHEVY FAN THAT HATES DODGE
@Roberto56car you're an idiot on both accounts of your comment. thats a gas chevy, you can hear the exhaust at the end, a V8 gas rumble, the duramax is a quiet engine. and second, you may agree with that comment, but it doesnt mean you're right. in fact, you scored twice on the dumbass board. a dually has more tires, which equals traction. physics, traction is king, not weight on the tires. one truck has power going to 2 wheels, the other has power distributed over 4 wheels. you guys are idiots
i dont think you guys realize that duallys arent made for grip? they are made for weight distribution which actually means less grip idiots these days
@oklahomachevyboy it also had a lot more tire area with that dually and more wieght thats like a tricycle pulling a fucking bulldozer. that thing was a beast
@oklahomachevyboy so the entire weight of the truck is just on the front wheels huh... even the engine in the front has an impact on the rear end. there is more weight on that rear end then the cheyvy. the simple reason the chevy one cuz it was a 4x4 vs 2wd tug of war
technically they are both 4wd. both trucks have the same amount of pulling-rubber. the dodge just has no weight to its ass end. hook up a big ass trailer to both and then see who pulls it better.
Seemed like the Dodge wasnt even trying. Like it was just on the brakes or in park

THATS BULL SHIT THE CUMMINS WOULD HAVE WHOOPED ITS ASS
dontmesswithtexas43 3 months ago
Soooo yea, I think the chevy was just pulling the dodge back to the spot they started in after the dodge won, because they were all the way over already.
somekindofmonster7 3 months ago
i love chevy, and i know that that dodge was a hell of a lot heavier than the chevy, showing me that the dodge must either be in 2wd or neutral.
brimm51 3 months ago
all that tells me is that the guy in the Dodge could have sprung for some better tires.

Chevy runs deep!
javante2010 3 months ago
okay im a chevy guy, but the dodge looked like it was in 2wd, the chevy prolly 4wd if that dodge was in 4wd it wouldve pulled the chevy around the block

4x4 gas vs 4x2 diesel, no match at all. even unfair, i'd say.
Minnie2009100 4 months ago
i could get my 37 hp kabota tractor and pull tht chevy all day long, its all bout traction big boiiiss..
Marshmallow250f 4 months ago
The dodge wasn't in 4 wheel drive, so it was missing out on the axle that had 60% of the trucks weight. Chevy girls need to calm down.
Biginuf 4 months ago
@Biginuf totally agreed with you bro. against a dodge diesel 4x4, the chevy surely breaks their driveshafts.
Minnie2009100 4 months ago
this is such an easy thing to do all you gotta do is break until the other morn starts to spin his tires then you just ease on the gas pedal and bingo you fucking win oh yeah 4X4 helps as well
xXxchipperchopperxXx 4 months ago
Too bad the dumbass doesn't know how to drive a dodge. Let me hook my truck to the shitty ass Chevy you call a truck and see who pulls lol
speedygt40 4 months ago
both diesels?
7150285 4 months ago
ok the dodge was using rear wheels only
chevy was using all
oooMTBMTBooo 4 months ago
dear guy in dodge. its that long skinny pedal on the right
kuhndog52 4 months ago
Chevy fans are pathetic. Its like they're blind because they can't see what a shitty Generic truck Chevy is. It has no Power, It breaks down every 60,000 miles exactly, It over heats like a bitch, They won't last for more then 300,000 miles and they're Horrible looking, and the ride is terrible with very poor throttle response. I'd rather have a Dodge over a Chevy but most of all A Ford over both.
14omega28ok 4 months ago
@14omega28ok please dont be so harsh. i have a 2001 chevy silverado 1500. she isn't lifted or anything special. but all iv ever had to do is keep basic maintenance on her. she has 276,529 miles on her 100% original drive train. and i got her to pull my car hauler, a 18x8' enclosed. and when i buy a new one it will be a chevy as well. my car on the other hand is in fact a dodge. a 2011 challenger. it of course runs like a top as dus my 1968 charger. i love mopar. but i trust chevy trucks.
fleebagcoolio2 4 months ago
@fleebagcoolio2 I don't have much problem with Chevy, Its its die hard fans I don't like. Because honestly I've drove many Chevy's and I just wasn't very impressed it wasn't all that special, it just didn't feel right. Plus they had more problems. But I guess it might be because my Ford is a old thing has no kind of muffler and has a high HP V8 and low geared to hell so I guess I'm just kind of use to that instant all out power and loud roar of mine then with a proper truck lol.
14omega28ok 4 months ago
@14omega28ok lol i pissed my dad off today cause i said i like ford more than dodge
oya691 4 months ago
@14omega28ok dont know where you get your information, my duramax has 796k miles on it and has pulled every day since it rolled off the lot with no problems and my last chevy 6.0 gas had almost 500k on it and had no problems and both have tons of power,,,chevy is well known to have the best ride and consistently out performs dodge and ford not by a lot but it does. chevy ford and dodge all make good trucks but dodge hd cummins with manual is good. your comment makes u look retarded

dodges fucking suck ass, chevy all the way
MrFuckshit97 4 months ago
does anyone else notice the lack of smoke coming from the dodges front tires....... i mean i wasnt there or anything but it looks like the chevy was in 4 wheel and the dodge was in rear. and that would make alot of sense in that case why the chevy won
k2rj20 4 months ago
if that chevy wer pulling agenst a ford it would have pulled the powerless powerjoke even further then the dodge

Dually's get off to a slower start so once momentum is lost 4 wheels is better than 6 thats the reason the chevy won and i am a Proud Chevy owner so im just speaking the truth!!!
ChevorletandDodge 6 months ago
That's some bullshit the dumbass must not have his 4x4 on cause if he did there is know he can pull a 3500 cummins engines are just to fucking strong to lose to a dam chevy

Yah ur fucken stupid. Chevy is the best, deal with it
MrBballin32 6 months ago
@MrBballin32 lol do you know what it takes to win a truck - truck pull? its all weight if you get your tires spinning first your gonna lose and as for the video you see the chevy pulling it back to the start so they could see if the chevy can beat the dodge
Prodecessor981 5 months ago
your all dumb.! any real truck person knows a truck pulling another truck has nothing to do with whos best or has more power, its about who gets the better traction and has the upper hand. now put them in a tractor pull and then compare.!
sawooooop 6 months ago 30
@sawooooop youd think a dually cummins would have more traction
mxrmz323 4 months ago
@mxrmz323 either one could get more traction, and even though hooking two trucks to one another proves nothing really i sometimes do it an I've learned the one who tries to take off first usually loses because they hit the gas an make the tires spin an lose traction trying to get the upperhand when really their messing their self up

@sawooooop faact

um one thing thats not a gas chevy its a duramax and i agree with the other about dually there only made for weights
Roberto56car 9 months ago
@Roberto56car you're an idiot on both accounts of your comment. thats a gas chevy, you can hear the exhaust at the end, a V8 gas rumble, the duramax is a quiet engine. and second, you may agree with that comment, but it doesnt mean you're right. in fact, you scored twice on the dumbass board. a dually has more tires, which equals traction. physics, traction is king, not weight on the tires. one truck has power going to 2 wheels, the other has power distributed over 4 wheels. you guys are idiots
KLsemperFi7 7 months ago
i dont think you guys realize that duallys arent made for grip? they are made for weight distribution which actually means less grip idiots these days

lol that was set up, the cummins weighs twice as much as the chevy. Obviously the good ole cummins will snatch a driveshaft!
skeeter1012 10 months ago
Really people? The dodge wasn't even revvin up. That chevy probably had a hard time pullin the dodge in neutral.

CHEVY IS LUCKY THAT IT WASN'T A FORD!!!=)
XXSINALOA96XX 11 months ago
@XXSINALOA96XX true because fords are heavier than chevys and they get more traction this is all that tug of wars prove
kylemcevoy 11 months ago
Fake vid, that cummins woulda dragged that pussy shit all over the concrete
TheFullback44 11 months ago
That Dodge has A/T tires, which dramatically affects the traction on pavement. Therefore, not a fair match.
oklahomachevyboy 11 months ago
@oklahomachevyboy it also had a lot more tire area with that dually and more wieght thats like a tricycle pulling a fucking bulldozer. that thing was a beast
FORDGTFANATIC 11 months ago
@FORDGTFANATIC true, but the dually has no weight on the ass end, where all his tire area is.
oklahomachevyboy 11 months ago
@oklahomachevyboy i dont think so. that back end weighs more with the dual rear wheels then the rear end of the chevy
FORDGTFANATIC 11 months ago
@oklahomachevyboy so the entire weight of the truck is just on the front wheels huh... even the engine in the front has an impact on the rear end. there is more weight on that rear end then the cheyvy. the simple reason the chevy one cuz it was a 4x4 vs 2wd tug of war
FORDGTFANATIC 11 months ago
tht dodge got powned
urbanredneck96 11 months ago
@ginda007530 while it's spoiling I'm already 3-4 lengths ahead.
cancercanon 11 months ago
technically they are both 4wd. both trucks have the same amount of pulling-rubber. the dodge just has no weight to its ass end. hook up a big ass trailer to both and then see who pulls it better.
bicyclemafia 1 year ago
what happened to the diesel power?? that Dodge should be ashame cuz it's a diesel dually and got beat by a regular gas truck
