I mean they're still legendary and they're one of my favorite groups...but you can tell they're holding back on vocals because of their age, and diminished voices

Steve Stills is singing throughout, every time there is a harmoney, I know his voice. They just don't have the camera trained on him much of the time.
@bbbacres I can recognize his voice, too. got into an argument w/ a co-worker. for some reason he kept tellin' me that stills was lead on this. I argued, pulled up youtube and proved it. whatever. love their voices...either individually or together. they're awesome.
Sad. A great folk-rock song (one of my favorites) sounding like pauper AOR. Anyway i'm glad they are still alive and kicking, they are great. See the Woodstock film video.
Wow- They're amazing- I never paid them much attention all my life- I liked Hawkwind- maybe the Grateful Dead- a bit later- and Dylan absolutely- still do- then punk happened in 76-77- then post punk and this and that--- and I enjoyed every minute- But this--- It had maturity from the start- how could it not improve with age?
They are better than they used to be now that they aren't doing the drugs. They, at times in the past, used to sing out tune live. Drugs don't do anything but make you wish you never took them and do make you feel glad you survived taking them.
WOW, I had just seen them on 9/9/09 at Ironstone Vineyards in a much more intimate setting, 7,000 people....this looks like a huge event! I can't even imagine how many people were at Glastonbury! Looks like 50,000 or more & they don't appear to be jet lagged! Love these guys!
just watch Stills' use of vibrato and control over tone and his mastery of string bending.....he laern't that from Hendrix when he followed Jimi around in 1970.....brilliant. And how come the Croz can sound so amazing with all the shit he's done over the years
Total legends...there was a kid messing around and calling them old geezers before they came on stage, but I watched him during this son and he was just stood there totally awe struck with his mouth wide open......they totally rocked Glastonbury in such a masterful way...nothing like experience of festivals which they have in spades. Stills is GOD or something close !
The best I have heard for a long, long time over the years. TOP QUALITY song. Musically, lyrically, and technically excellent. The Stephen Stills guitar solo magnificent, Graham Nash great voices and Crosby's voice impecable despite his old age, can still deliver very high quality. This is one of the super-groups of the 60s. The music is timeless. This rarely happen nowadays, when music and art has been manipulated by music corporations.
This whole set was fucking amazing. I was absoloutly bolloxed off my head, half asleep just behind the back speakers, sleeping on the grass with my mate drinking and smoking. Fucking great times.
still going strong, perfect. Love this

Was that Steven Stills playing too? He did not sing. Very good guitar though.
nchevrea 8 months ago
@nchevrea Such a pity that Stephen plays almost entirely by sight and "vibration" now, as he says he cannot really hear what he's doing anymore.

Steven needs to skip a donut. But his 1970 Album is still among the best RR records ever. And CSN - ah, old guys can still do it!

They are as good today as 30 years ago. The only person on the planet I would like to meet is David Crosby.
