always the grades doesnot matter,its what the heart likes....and surely does mr clcayderman play them from the heart...it enchants all of us...may be sometimes more than the higher graded pianists..who play so mechanically!!yet they have all the degrees

Clayderman needs to improve his skills a bit more and play something above grade 9 royal conservatory. all the ones on youtube are around grade 5.

Rather, to be able to allow your emotions to soar freely without being critical of details and just enjoy music is where you'll find much satisfaction - not only yourself but those who are watching....and it's in that kind of atmostphere, you'll be able to explore wider horizons for improvements.. "race on 100 metres" probably meant it's not about the winning...there's more to it than that.

@SuperReddy13 true, but what i'm tryin to point out is that clayderman only sticks to the easiest performance pieces to show extreme emotion in. it gets a bit boring since about a couple thousand people in the world could play the pieces the way he does and possibly better.

@woormi I agree that he is no virtuoso, but keep in mind that one does not have to be a virtuoso to create and play good music. It's arguable though whether Clayderman writes good music or not, it's not my task to determine this.
