absolutly awsome model/diorama. i have seen the wreckage photos of this m4 sherman off the beaches of saipan. in the same group of photos there is a picture of a fully submerged marine amtrak just off the beach and probably close to this sherman.after 60 plus years it is encrusted with sea growth and decay. a model/ diorama of this submerged amtrak would be a great follow up to the sherman. hint hint! thank you for shareing your work great job mike and pepe.two thumb's up!

To be honest I found the best part of the dio to be the seaweeds that are standing straight up like they would underwater, any clear resins I've used tend to flatten plants out or at least give them unrealistic postures unless I use something quite stiff which often doesn't look as good.. Was the product you used for the water extremely thin??

Some inspiring modelling work... water borne models are always tough... making a transparent waterborne model is even more tough... making a wreck of a waterborne model is the toughest... high marks to you :)

@KnightOwl2006 A mess. Very corroded. You can get inside but not very safe. Full of barnacles, coral etc... fish too. The commander's hatch is completely open. I only went in for a very short time. Hope to get a good waterproof digital camera to bring out there sometime. But not much to see. There are also several Japanese Type 97 tanks on the island. One is on the beach and a couple have been dumped behind the control tower at the air port. Lots of stuff lying around.

This is just beyond unbelievable my friend. Not only the story on what happened with this Sherman and how she finally laid to rest in the surf of Saipan, the what had to have been an incredible dive around her by the boys in the vid... But to model it such realism yet humor, is truly a treat... You did an incredible job editing it in a way that really made you see the entire story.. Bravo My Friend !!! I hope you are well, and we do need to catch up soon... Before the Holidays....

@ModellMeister Actually he shouldn't have added anything. This model represents this tank as it really is. I know, I have swam around this particular tank and been inside it. The molder would have ruined the accuracy had he put crabs and barnacles as suggested.
