  • A tu Polkowice ! ;)))))))))))))))))))

  • Magic x

  • Interesting vids. The midday music reminds me of 'The Village' in 'The Prisoner' tv series. You should do a holiday vid of Portmerion ,where it was filmed. Its an interesting place to go. The cemetary was really neat. I think they probably respect the dead (and the elderly) more than we do. Those dumplings look very tasty. They would go nicely with a bottle of TYSKIE ., my favourite Polish beer.!

  • I have always wanted to visit there and it is on my list, thanks for your comment!:)

  • You are so nice :)

  • Thanks, that was nice of you!:)

  • A trip into town for some sightseeing followed by home-made pierogis... It doesn't get any better!

  • Phew! Finally! I thought you weren't gonna be able to meet them. :P mmmm dumplings..kind of reminded me of ravioli. How was it?

  • I thought the same as you about how they look like ravioli! I like to see the effort and love that goes in to making them. I posted a video about how to make them a while back and it gets comments daily, apparently peirogis rock!:)

  • just watched the 4 part epic ! was very interesting as it's not a part of the world that gets a lot of exposure. The 12:00 music wass something unexpected.

Dominika's folks seem very sweet like her :)

I love perogies! One of my English students in Italy had traveled to every corner of the world and her FAVOURITE place was Poland.

  • Thanks, Lesley! Talking of perogies, it is Friday and you know what that means in the Padbury household? Perogi night! Thanks for watching all the parts, luv ya!:)

  • Excellent Videos Anthony and Dominika. You two have a great way of making vids and the fun and enjoyment is passed onto us all. I really enjoyed this series. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks a lot, Phil! I point the camera at her constantly (often I have to cut her rolling her eyes LOL!) but I usually get some great one-liners! I think also people can tell it is not just for the camera, we are daft in real life!:)

  • I have still only made perogi once and it turned out good. I made it with cheesy potatoes. since It's very hot here, I want to put some sort of fruit filling in next time.

  • Cheesy potatoes rock! Dominika smothers hers in butter and this weird smelling and tasting polish sauce whilst I prefer ketchup! I want to try the fruit ones!:)

  • This is brilliant! Not only do I get to visit a Polish home! I also wanted you ask you how you met and stuff bit didnt want to appear nosey! lol.. I have two members of my msn site who met online, she travelled all the way from Australia to be with him!! Thats a long way! So was Dominika living in Poland when you met? I really do love a happy ending :)

  • We don't mind you asking! Yes, we met on YouTube and sparked off immediately, then Dominika came over to stay with her cousin in London in August and, I am glad to say that in person we still felt the same! We moved in together in January and we are hoping to get married next April!:)
