There's more to the Storyline then you people think, All these stories.... there clue's leading to something thats why AC 4,5,ZERO, and 6 are all events that happened in that fiction world.
@tochbomb1 Well, as I mentioned in this video, it's vague on how Megalith is interacting with the asteroids in this stage. It's either shooting them down to prevent more impacts, or more likely the missiles are redirecting the asteroid to hit various targets around Usea. What makes Megalith such a threat is the fact that it's a giant ICBM Launcher with a stockpile of warheads that can hit anywhere on the Continent.
@OtakuGamingSociety Megalith (メガリス Megarisu) is a massive anti-asteroid planetary defense structure built in the Twinkle Islands, west of the Usean Continent. Megalith is one of the weapons built to protect Strangereal from the Ulysses 1994XF04 Asteroid and appears to use ICBMs and laser systems to do so.
Stonehenge, Chandelier, (and I believe the Arkbird as well) where also built to destroy the Ulysses asteroid.
@wolfguy528 Well, the fact that in Ace Combat Zero, you flew in Ustio's 6th Air Division, 66th Tactical fighter unit called Galm, (A misspelling of Garm, the blood soaked watchdog of Hel in Norse Mythology) where as time when by you were given the nickname "Demon Lord", Surely this must be coincidence. :D Just Kidding. I suspect this is another intentional Christian reference. I must admit that i didn't notice that altitude number at the start.
I find a good tactic to deal with aces and yellows alike is to get to gun range and fire in front of the enemy and whatever turn they are doing they will stop and fly in a straight line for about 4 seconds just fire two missiles during that space of time and it almost always guaranteed a kill
I've played Ace Combat 2, 4, 5 and 6 -- I also played 'Sky Crawlers' for the Wii (another Project Aces game). Shattered Skies is without a doubt the best in the series that I have played; the story, missions and the human face of the enemy make this game a classic flight sim.
I think its strange that on my first day of play of AC4 my cousin (who was WAY better than me at this because hes had it for 2 years) played against me and I won. He didnt shoot me down once. Then when I got the game myself I played so many times and beat the game 7 times that the only way I could go down was if I crashed which only happens every 35 games(not kidding and or lying). P.S. AC4 RULES!!!
Oh man, this brings back memories. Quite, the very first time I played this, I was so nervous, I was too fast I actually crashed on the roof of the silo after destroying the missile. Man, that was so close for my first time, specially when that particular time, I was like 10-11 years old. XD
Yeah, I got into this while very young. Looking back, I'm surprised I even managed to complete the game at all at that age, considering how easily I got nervous trying to play it at all... :/

@Raitonic95 And dude even if you didn't take any damage you would've still died if you'd crashed going after the other missiles.
