I lived in Seattle for several years, and one of the reasons I moved is because of the police there. They are vile, they are racist and they get away with EVERYTHING! Halloween 2009 a police officer was shot and killed, they made a big funeral for him and oh the humanity wheres the justice! But in 2010 a man crossing the street was shot and killed by a cop who thought he had a weapon, the man was deaf. He only gets fired. Where was the justice there? or HIS big funeral? 5 shots in the back.

Its kinda fucked up that the girl got punched in her face but when you think about the police got family and shit they want to go home. Just maybe if you stop and think putting your hands on a police office is never a bright ideal, ive been pulled over for speeding a couple of times and I nicely spook with the officer and didn't get a ticket or searched.

The officer was out numbered and he was just trying to get everything under control. The two girls aren't crazy, but they were being disrespectful to the officer and also giving physical contact. The officer only hit the girl once.... she's just lucky he didn't tackle her or take her down the hard way. In my opinion, the officer was just doing his job.

Police officers don't even deserve this ridiculous amount of authority they enjoy because of the cowards who fear them. Honestly, shouldn't he have the common sense not to punch someone because she didn't feel like getting charged for something as insignificant as J walking? If I was about to have to pay a penalty for disrupting someone's convenience, I sure as hell would try to avoid it.

Great observation about the reality check needed. I teach and some young sisters think they can man-up on adults, especially men. I don't condone hitting women, but once you put your hand on a man or confront a man like you are one, many will show you how men deal with men. I also always tell young folk to can the attitude against authority because many times all you get is a warning. She got what she deserved and it was funny.
