You know what. I don't think thousands of women would have back alley abortions. I think they'd have their babies. And, if they did have back alley abortions, that's their decision. At least murder wouldn't be the law of the land. So, you think murder is ok? That's what many people think. That's why we live in such a violent society. About the issue of choice, women DO have a choice. They can choose not to have sex unless they're ready to act responsibly with their decision!

i think you'll find that in almost every country which has banned abortion thousands of women have died during back street abortions. thats not an opinion its fact. you equate abortion with murder that is the problem . And you also equate the choice of having sex as the same as having an abortion which is just ignorant. What if the mother didnt have a choice in whether she had sex??? a young girl is raped and you'd force her to have the baby - that is far worse then allowing abortion.

there is a difference between an unborn child and a child after birth. dont try and blur the line. the life of the mother comes first until the child is born. if a women is raped and impregnated she has the choice whether to carry that child. and rightly so. and in every country which has banned abortion women have died or have been mutilated through having back street abortions. congrats on voting in Obama.
