  • Excellent. Great song! Jerry was the man! There was a time I was into JGB more than the Dead.

  • Somewhere out there is a land that's cool......where peace and balance are the rule.

  • great solo work!!!

  • Is it just me or does anyone else has the urgent need to light up a joint and spend the evening listening to Captain Trips while jamming along on the guitar? ;-)

  • @GDXPRSS i second that emotion

  • This is awesome on so many levels.

First, it's Jerry. Jerry = AWESOME.

I looked up "awesome" in the dictionary, and there, as definition No. 1, was Jerry.

Right after that, however, for definition No. 2, was Bruce Cockburn, the author of this song.

So, here, we really have awesome squared.

Now, if Bruce and Jerry had played together, I think the awesomeness would have been sufficient to create a wormhole, or something.

It definitely would have melted the face off of anyone listening.

  • AWESOME!!

  • Beautiful!!

  • has anyone ever heard dso do a version of this? id like to hear john kadlecik do this.

  • Love and Miss You Jerry!
