The reason 425 was slipping was because of the wet weather and her sanding pipe was jammed (They got it fixed after she slipped severely).

People just need to be smarter and think before they do. And pay attention to what is going on. People today just don't care that there are flashing red lights. It doesn't send them the message. And gates won't help. People just drive around them because they still don't get it. It is a waste of money when it doesn't effect the driver, except that they have to take a different path to get around those annoying gates as they would say. SAFETY MEANS NOTHING TO SOME PEOPLE.

Great video Joe; rain adds to the effect! Cloudy and overcast days are also better for taking video, since quality shows up better on a cloudy or rainy day rather than a sunny day.

And I guess that damn idiot at 4:54 thought it would be fun to out-run a big 4-6-2 with a whole train, maybe he should try out-running a K4 while running on the tracks, with the K4 doing 70! People like the one in that jeep are a nucence to Railroads.

I've heard this whistle many many times through out the 1990's, they also had that same whistle on the 02 for a few trips.

I was filming right next to you at the Glen Onoko cut. That moron you caught in the SUV at Nesquehoning crossing is about as close as I have seen to a collision! I have seen cars get caught between gates but this was scary.
