  • Oh My God, the MEMORIES this brings back. I was about to start college when these commercials came out- I've never forgotten them I have forgotten the names of several girls I've dated, however (and what I had for dinner three nights ago).

  • too good!! they gotta start making this type of stuff again

  • ...and spank me

  • Is that Ed Bagly Jr?

  • Timeless 80s beautiful people.

  • What the fuck?!

  • Too cool!

  • LOL.

  • 00:10 the cheery music always get to me. Just like all the other music in the obsession 80's commercial. I believe the music makes up most of the commerical (of course the dialouge does as well). Luv the commercials....

  • LOL. Where the hell are they? Will someone please post the one where she slaps a woman in the face and says "save me" and recoils away. That's the best of these commercials, seriously. It ends with "she abandoned me to the wreckage of my soul... and smiled".

  • @YvesIsaki You can find it somewhere on the side, it says circa 1986.

  • never saw this version of the ad campaign...

  • i would say this is the weirdest and creepiest commercial ever

  • $25.00 lol

  • Lol, how is that chick calling him a liar...in the other Obession ads she's walking up to guys telling them to save her? When i was a kid I was so confused by this commercial...I thought "Is he sick"? "does he have A.I.D.S"? "Does he love men and women"? I still have questions...POR QUE??!!!!!!

  • WHAT THE FUCK

  • I remeber this commercial very well but here they would tag it for macy's or A&S when they were in business

  • I totally get this

  • I remember it well as a teen, imitating that fag in high school got plenty of laughs!

  • Ridiculing people who are perceived as defenseless and inferior for something they have no control over is always funny, right, 600SELV12? I'll bet you're a real comedian around the disabled and elderly. Do you keep all your jewish jokes in a separate file? "...imitating that jew in high school got plenty of laughs!"

  • this is the awesomest commercial ever

  • Does anybody remember the spoof they did on

Saturday Night Live? Jan Hooks was in it.

If Phil Hartman was in it, please let me

    know.

  • Compullsion

  • This commercial makes no sense..... i love it its so stupid

  • If living with obsession is a sin...then let me cut my bangs super short.

  • omg! i love she cuts her bangs so short!

  • The spoof the In Living Color did was HILARIOUS... Oppression for Men with David Alan Grier.

  • My mom played violin 4 this commercial-- note the tremolos in there!

  • @blahblahblahblah22 My dad is the guy in the commercial. He is from iceland

  • This commercial is so awesome.

  • AnnainCA I was looking for that too!

  • This is not the full version of this commercials it has been edited down some. I agree the original Obsession tv ads were freaky - I remember them and their many more wish all were here on youtube they would be fun to re-watch again. Loved the tag line back them - Obession for men I'd know him in the dark.

  • Does anyone have the version with the man saying "She was a fever from which I will never recover?" I'd love to see that one again.

  • What does he say at the end? If obsession is a sin, let me...?

    M.

  • If obsession is a sin, let me be guilty!

  • Thank you! I love it very much.

    Lyon

  • I remember this ad, except instead of Lazarus (nice store, btw) we had May Company. Then...Kauffman's. Now...Macy's.

  • wtf r they talking about???? these commercials make no sense at all

  • I'll say it again, the actual "Obsession" are 1,000 times funnier than ANY of their parodies!

  • Wasn't there a Calvin Klein spoof of Obession on SNL back in the 80s? I think it involved house cleaning and it was really funny...

  • It was called "Calvin Clean" and Jan Hooks and Phil Hartman were in it. Hysterical.

  • Oh, good ol' Lazarus. Who could forget Columbus' answer to Macy's- right before it became a Macy's

  • Actually, Federated Department Stores was pretty much run by the Lazarus family through the 1980's. So, in a way, Macy's actually became Lazarus.
