@MatthewDavison89 It can use nVidia cards with no problems, if you're using a single card. There are reports of a so-called "SLI Hack" that would allow for two nVidia cards on an AMD Crossfire motherboard, but I can't personally verify that this works.

i bought a MA 790FXT UDP5 AM3 Motherboard some time ago with a amd 965cpu now that the new 1090t 6 core cpu's are out id love to upgrade to that, now will this motherboard support the 1090t fully or will i need to upgrade to a 890chipset motherboard to get the most out of the new amd cpu??? :) thanks for ur help.

Just ordered the the ga-790fxt, AMD 955, Diamond 4890 xoc, CORSAIR-850HX, MEM 2Gx2 OCZ OCZ3P1333LV4GK R, Cavair black 640G and I'm leaning towards the CoolerMaster Storm Sniper. I just haven't picked out the cpu cooler yet. As for the memory maybe I should have went with the 1600, I thought the 1333 would be more stable. I wonder if Newegg would let me exchange it. @jo05dk, If I lowered the multiplier I could have raisedthe FSB higher yes. Its a preference, for me I rather use the multipler first and see how high that can go without changes in FSB.
