@brasstrombone9 this was right when i got out of basic training for the army so i havent plyed in a year or two, i was rusty, we completely switched roles tom(right) is actually a damn good bass player now and I play small bore tenor in a ska band. i cant wait to reunite with tom and make awesome videos for you guys

Puffing your cheeks is not bad per say. If you are playing concert music it may be bad since it blares the sound, but in this case it just produces a sound that sounds awesome in this type of music

not to brag but I play some bass trombone and i do not puff my checks as my privet trombone teacher says not to do.But it is better sometimes to hit noets with puffing your checks.

d00d. 1. you need a trigger on your boner. 2. just practice trying to hit like way lower notes w/out it first. if you get a boner with a trigger. you'll notice that 1'st with the trigger is the same as 6th position. practice is key on this one. just like with high notes. It took me a year to be able to play the high b flat scale.

i love the petal tones and the avante garde capacity of the bass t-bone. the tenor was great too. as an ex-t-bone player i can appreciate it. i have a chance to join our community band here in lake charles, la. again.

i have an 1947 model king 2-b that is a great horn for 1st chair and solo. the horn has been reworked and looks new. i put new inner slides in it and replaced the nickel/silver outer slides. it's in top shape, but i want a larger bore horn. maybe a king 4-b or bach concert horn.

The guy on the left needs to not puff his cheeks, you are getting a blured sound, you need to keep them tight and you will get a much better and stronger, sound. Other than that it was really well done.

I (left) am using a Getzen Eterna II Series Bass trombone (hence the giant size difference) he is using the Bach Stradivarius 42H (it has the hagmann valve, highly recommended) he has a strad as well but he didnt bring it, so the next video we do will both have strads. thanks for the comment appreciate it!

Being a Besson style Euphonium player, my tone is naturally very dark and i get silver plated euph's to brighten it up. When im playing bass trombone, there's no point in brightening up my dark tone, why fight it? join it!!! this eterna series bass trombone is seriouss!. the rose brass bell really darkens your tone and the yellow brass helps it really get through the horn quickly. id recommend the independent over the dependent, played both and the indy's dual triggers are alot more free flowing
