hahahaha....i dont think the guy with the mustang was even trying unless they put a tiny 1.5 liter shit motor in it!! my buddy has a stock 92 stang with only 225 hp and still hauls ass to this very day. but if we are seeing a metro beating the stang??.....then, its gotta be making way more than just 100hp! i do know however, spark plug non-foulers work with the exhaust system o2 sensors to lean out fuel mixture giving you an extra punch for a short time. long intervals will cause overheating.

Depends on your definition of "hauls ass". This car was most definately wide open. 100whp in a 1600lb car is a pretty good power/weight ratio.

If you figure that the Mustang was probably in the neighborhood of 190ish-whp(94s only had 215hp at the crank) in a 3400lb car: That's roughly a 17/1 p/w ration. While the Geo is sitting at about 16/1. Would be a good race on paper. This vid backs that up.

I personally owned a geo metro 3 cylinder for like 6 years. The very best car I have EVER owned tbh. Tank and metro are synonomous in my personal opinion. And yes they are very slow stock, but they are also extremely easy to work on. They are extremely reliable too. If you have an oppotunity to nab a geo, i'd say take it or u r a stupid fuck.@motorchad, yes some metros came with 4 bangers.some with turbo. google suzuki swift.

Believe it or not the little metro is extremely fun to drive and really puts a smile on my face when i fill up and see that i got over 40 mpg. One other thing is that it really makes you appreciate the big ol v8 as far as power goes haha.

I drove a stock Geo Metro for a winter(a friends car), I must say it was a blast to drive.

Obviously it's not fast but when you're Car is that small you feel like you have TONS of room on the road, and it kinda feels like Mario Kart too,lol

I think you forgot the 1 in front of the 7 the first time around haha. It's not a 7 sec ride, youve got a 17sec ride, even though it is a 5 speed hahaha. By the way here's a tip. At night your ride's gonna be slower then during the day, less traction due to the strip cooling down, if you woulda said ALL DAY LONG, i'd give you a 16.8 @89 mph maybe lol. But since you said ALL NIGHT LONG. Gotta give the the 17

Yeah, to bad that was a 1994 completely stock mustang while this guy took a 1753lbs car and stuffed a turbo in it. While yes he has a fast car till the 1/8th mile his car is also worth about $1500 the way it is now. Geo metro's scored a 26 outta 100 in the consumer automitive guide. So in the end he's still got a shitty car, that can outrun a 94 5.0L making 200bhp and 160ish while it weights 4000lbs. I'll be impressed when/IF the guy beats a 03-04 cobra. But not till then. GEO'S are slow

I have 275/75/r15's on it from yokohoma I have a 87 Bronco II that's automatic. And I have a 01 CBR 600F4I thats lowered thats capable of a low 10 sec ride, which I'm looking into selling and getting a 1000RR and messing around with. This Geo, which is by no means a fast car, is capable of outrunning a Mustang GT with the 5.0 (Which, by the way, had 215bhp in '94 and only went up from there) which is a respectable accomplishment for something that came out with 55bhp. Maybe you have a 10 second ride, maybe not. I'm not going to hate on you for saying shit you can't back up. I just don't like you because you're dissing this man's hard work.

im guessing since your only running 7 pounds of boost you left the compression ratio the same? if shorter rods are available, i bet you could get an extra 30-50hp if you drop the compression and crank up the boost.
