I use to play Rollergames all the time at the Red Robin restaurant in Las Vegas, NV.

Gals Panic!!! I had totally forgotten about that game . Well, I didn't know the title of the game, I was quite young at the time, but I remember the game fondly.

There was a cabinet at a pizza place next door from us when I was growing up.

I liked it allot, but probably for other reasons than the middle aged men that was playing it also.

It played just as Zolyx, the fantastic C64 game.

That little side note in your video just made my day.

Cool video! I've never played any of them, but they actually all look really fun! I like how your character in Top Roller is huskier than his competitors. Kind of looks like a giant. Gulliver amongst the Lilliputians. OK, I'm taking this too far. But, great video, thanks! :)

one interesting that the US Version of Rollergames did not have, but existed in the Japanese version was that there was some ocassional powerups which could freeze the opposing team, give you a super spin kick ability, and extra lives (provided that you had 3 of the blue logos).

Top Roller looks pretty cool John very much like Bump N Jump and Roller Jammer reminds me of Road Rash. Great video and a pretty interesting look at Roller Skating arcade games....I never knew there was so many. Maybe you could do one on Skate Boarding arcade games in the future that might prove to be fun as well. : )

OMFG, way to blast me to the past... I wasn't a young adult of the 80s (born 1991), but I do remember the 'Roller Games' cabinent at the roller rink I used to go to camp to as a small child... wow I must have been 3 or 4 at the time.

Tell me, did you grow up as a teenager in the 80s? That would have been such a amazing experience... roller rinks were a big mainstate of the 80s, or so I've heard XD
