only thing i think of concerning rimmers hologram status - this is actually based in the mirror universe which lister, cat, kryten and kochanski escaped into, unfortunately rimmer did not, therefore they used the hologram drive to bring him back

theres not going to be a second series, this is jus to celebrate the 10 year anniversary.

And thank god if you ask me. The problem is not with the chemistry of the actors who have been apart for 9 years, its with the writing and direction.
