  • i miss that place so bad

  • Raised my kids in C'viile. I'd like to see more of the vintage businesses than the chain stores.

  • Born and raised in Cartersville for 22 years... graduated from Cass High in 1991... attended Sam Jones Memorial UMC (back when Tommy Greene was pastor)...

  • shit i guess none of these people get out to much cause i didnt see one damn person i know

  • wtf? the only thing you showed me to remind me of home was the 4-way lunch and the coca cola sign at young bros pharmacy, what about ross's, ladds mtn, taylor farm supply, the old knights hardware?? i waas born/raised there, and didnt recognize a single mofo, especially those two dot heads, where the hell are they from? not c'ville, i promise

  • cass high baby!!!

  • im honored to live in cartersville. show some pics of whs next time! and i can stand and say that i make straight a's. not everyone in cartersville drops out. people can be successful anywhere in the world. you just have to put your mind to it.

  • what is whs?

  • I'm an Englishman and I spent two years in your neck of the woods. Thanks for Vid, and I will always remember how friendly the folk of Cartersville were.

  • i go to your church and its a great one yours is the best church i think i will love it for ever!Keep up the good work! And there isn't only buildings and land!if there wasn't people then how would there be buildings and a land? God made people and told us to be who we are and everything! People don't need to judge this church or this world or city without visiting it!god told everyone that u don't need to start judging things without trying them out!to keep teenagers there then its a great one!!

  • Very nice. We live here and our heart is here.

  • i lived there before i FINALLY got out. you should have put the meth labs in this video O and the homeless people. 2. thats the C-ville i know.

  • do you know Phyllis Thurman? or Phyllis Lucille?

  • Yah... we have like 34 hobo's walking around im only 12 but i asked some guy walking past my moms pet shop said hey where do you live? and he says "IN DA WOODS"~Garret :)

  • I am so glad I got out of that town. High ,High school drop-out rate. Record teenage pregnacies tagging with a high abortion rate.

Cheers! A very undereducated "city" filled with irish of weak genetics. Show something better than strip malls next time. West is the best. Get out!!!

  • I moved here alittle over 10 years ago (unfortunitly) and all I have to say is this: The people are dumb and the school system is corrupt. (so are the Police here, the new sheriff has done alot better but he's still a crook. Dept Morgan never ran because he knew if he did he'd be forced to become a criminal.... His words not mine.)

Cass high security guards (Grey, graves... Whatever) love bashing the disabled. I Personally witnessed those creaps beat a kid with Autisim.

  • do u know phyllis thurman? phyllis lucille?

  • You and your church are a joke.

  • Great video and song btw. I'm quoting mattr8711: "but all that was shown was apartment living and fast food/retail chains." What the creator was trying to establish by showing these was the familiarity of the local businesses and how it adds to the greatness of this community. Otherwise, you'd be looking at a slideshow of people that could be from anywhere besides here in Cartersville, GA.

  • Brings back memories when I lived up the road from Cartersville. - I used to do aisle 4 ( tea, coffee, salad dressings, preserves etc), plus croutons. at the Wal-Mart 1997-98

  • I Live In Cartersville And I Think This Is A Great Video I Think You Should Of Got A Picture Of The Movie Theater At Night Because It Pretty I Think I Used To Live In Rosewood But I Moves Closer To Cass Middle School

    =]]

  • hmm...i have lived in cartersville for 10 years...still live here and well that certianly doesnt represent the cartersville I know.

  • nice video. but all that was shown was apartment living and fast food/retail chains. cartersville is a historic and vibrant community that has yet to be sucked in by atlanta. we have so many old mansions, shops, atrractions, and pleasant areas to be seen. just drive down west avenue and parade around old downtown, then you'll feel what cartersville is. great video, dont get me wrong. i enjoyed it greatly. but still would have loved to see what my town is about, and not what it has. best wishes.

  • Nice pic's of people; however, you completely missed what C'ville has to offer. Pic's of the town are of fast food, franchise, cookie cutter, anywhere USA places; not very attractive. Nxt time photograph historic and unique buildings and properties which reflect the heart of the town. Also, does everyone you know live in apartments; thats all you show regarding residential. C'ville has an abundance of nice historic homes and many upscale developments for those who have never been.

  • This is very nice. We lived in Cartersville from the fall of 1986 until March 2000. We still have lots of friends in the area. I would like to have seen more of the old downtown area, Sam Franklins, the Indian mounds, Dellinger Park and Koo Karate. Cartersville will always be "home" to me. Thanks for bringing me back.

  • I was at church today, only my second visit, when this was played and the song performed live. The song brought me to tears, expecially the word "there are tears from the saints for the lost and unsaved" - it is beautiful
