If you think this, it's obvious you don't swim competitively. There is a reason why Olympic swimmers don't wear baggy shorts to races. The better you are, the better suit you buy, going from AquaBlade to FS-Pro as you get better.

as far as i know...no it since baggy shorts does increase ur resistance against water...

i haven't seen any evidence of it either....but..i'm pretty sure it does increase ur speed...

but the thing is...i was just on the speedo website because i need to by a costume....and i had a quick look at the fast pro swimsuit...and its something ridiculus like....£400 and around $750 which is quite a lot for a swimsuit....but then again...its for proffesional atheletes who race a lot///..
