You are seriously mistaking what the word "dominance" outside of Jpn means! Rachel Pagones can teach you something about that. Heck, even in Jpn, the THREE LEADING sires are NOT his sons, and OUTSIDE of Jpn, go look at those stats. And his line is not dominant in the US, Europe, Aus, South Africa, etc, and even in Japan, the three leading sires are not his sons. What do you have? A few Gr.1 winners sired by his 2-4%BW sons outside of Jpn? Yep, that is what you have black kettle.
Black kettle, I am still waiting for YOU to let me know when his line is dominantoutside of Jpn, or his sons get over 2-4%BW! You know and I know that his line is no where near dominance outside of Jpn. Ask Rachel Pagones about that black kettle.

Oh by the way Mr. McLean is not the lone voice out there stating these things! Your hatred of Sunday Silence has blinded you to reality! I guess you STILL think Easy Goer was VASTLY SUPERIOR to SS as a racehorse??? Oh you and your cronies are so sad! Oh and here on this video is a paternal granddaughter winning the 12 furlong 2008 Sheema Classic G1 in new course record time! Man I love the irony of that!

Robert you let me know when you get done studying the works of NOTED pedigree advisor Ken McLean for one. Because when you get done reading what one of the brightest minds in TB breeding has to say. You will realize what I have been trying to pound into your extremely hard and biased head! You must think I'm the only guy around who views SS as a extremely dominant and breedshaping sire, who is considered one of the greatest of the last 50 years! Do you think I'm making this stuff up Robert? LOL!
Black kettle, you let me know not only when his sons get over 2-4%BW, but when that line is dominant outside of Jpn....Remember, not a few here or there, you know what the word dominance means, and dominance worldwide no less.
Let me know when SS sons at stud get OVER 2%BW or 3%BW!! Please let me know when they reach the %BW of all those other sons of great sires that had great success all over the world. Not just Japan! Don't be skewed by those half million dollar maiden and allowance races black kettle.

LOL i make a perfectly legitamate comment on this fine filly, and my comment gets hidden and more than likely spammed. Come now Ruffchamp and "friends",why are you still so broke up because Sunday Silence beat Easy goer 3 of 4 races in 1989??? Please grow up,after all it has been what? Oh yeah TWENTY ONE YEARS! Go get a life!
A granddaughter of one Sunday Silence. She is by the Sunday Silence son Fuji Kiseki. And some users on YT(and you know who you are) still insist SS was just a GREAT sire STRICTLY because he stood in Japan(kind of the big fish in a little pond thing).SS 's influence is quickly spreading worldwide, and I love it! Oh my what a filly this is! This is the 3rd time a SS horse has won this race,2 were sons of his and this sweet gal!
Love the "old man of Hong Kong." Viva Pataca. This is the only time I've ever seen or known of Viva Pataca shipping outside of Hong Kong to race. He's still racing at the highest levels though. Having just beaten 2010 Dubai World Cup 2nd place finisher, Lizard's Desire, in the 2010 Audemars Piguet Q.E. II Cup in Hong Kong.
@GBeret83 It was a huge run by Viva Pataca but he lost the race at the barrier draw. The winner was smart but got the run of the race, like Vengeance of Rain (who HK considers an inferior horse) in the previous Sheema Classic. Viva has a relatively short but sizzling sprint so a bad draw in a big field was always going to make it hard for him to win. He could have sit midfield easily. With the way he left horses like Youmzain and Doctor Dino for dead, I'd say he'd have won with the gooddraw.
yes a good night for the south africans. im from ireland so im not that familiar with jockeys trainers and horses out there. i know the obvious ones weichong marwing, anton marcus and p.strydom and then you have de kock and herman brown. could anyone tell me the main other jockeys and trainers out there. also what are your main races in the flat season, i known the durban july is a big one. finally who are are your main horses, this pocket power is unbelievable, thanks if anyone can help me out.
darren beadman is supposed to be australia's best jockey but that was a dreadful ride on viva pataca. i know the draw didnt help but the horse took up a decent position doen the back but turning for home beadman was all over the shop. i doubt though if viva would have been good enough to beat the brilliant sun classique. a brilliant horse.
