She nearly lost her voice forever, and it scared the hell out her. Her surgeon and voice therapist put her on a "vocalist's diet." Google it. No fats, dairy, flour or sugar. No acidic foods (tomatos, citrus, etc), no spicy foods, no beer, wine or booze...or foods with any of that stuff in them. She's basically down to eating veggies and lean meat.

It's no wonder she's lost weight.
