@sentra010 It's where they breed puppies in large proportions, keeping them in unsanitary conditions in cages. The parents are never allowed out of their cage and are not given medical treatment.
jjandrj: No, she's not an american eskimo nor does anything on here say she is. The Eskie rescue rescued her and we adopted her. She is Great Pyrenees, but also certainly resembles an Akbash..
Thats not an american Eskimo, at least not pure-bred check out this breed "Akbash Dog" this breed matches your dogs stature and physical features 99% more than Am. Eskie
Good on you! You did a great job! I am an animal lover too. I adopted or rescued all the three dogs I own, and recently a family of doves too! :) When the USA will ban the puppy mills????? :( Please, American people do something to stop that barbaric business!!!!
Great job guys! Unfortunately, this is only one happy ending. Yet, 8 million dogs are killed in shelters every year in the US only!
Puppy mills are in part responsible for this. But WE ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE, as long as people buy dogs instead of adopting them this will happen. I am so happy that people like you exist. Keep up the good work!
This is a Great Pyranees. She's beautiful and its good to see the story end well. These are GREAT dogs but they need room and patience and people need to understand thier quirks. Often they are misunderstood due the fact that they are so large and very barky. They are big lovers and great family dogs if you know how to handle them.
WOW!!!

@Aussiegirl265 Puppy mills are not worthy of the word mill. They sound more like concentration camps to me.

I have great pyrenees, and none of them weigh 150-180 pounds.
They're show dogs though, but we've never had one weigh over 115-120
