bullshit tha lot of ya!! the 998R has gold fork sliders and gold magura clutch lever so whos had a real 998R then. had one, now have 1098R prefer 996R to the lot. new R1s got ducati drive out the bends then gets caught and the BMW falls apart in 1 track day. americans cant ride by default coz theyr roads are grids, i live in scotland so i get to ride the best roads in the world when its not pissing it down and a gixxer 750 and R6 can stay with anything on through the twisties. and thats that
yep definately not 998R, the r also has carbon fibre front mud guard, gold ohlins folks and as mentioned, solo race unit which is white. the r is instantly recognizable.
This is definitely not 998R as there is no pillion option in R. Moreover, it has the golden Magnesium Marchesini wheels and this one has the Standard 998 wheels. There is a Hell Lot of difference in the Sound as well. 998R is a Roaring Monster...
