Really good, that you are a civil engineer, plz start finding out facts about akshardham temple, if you fail to do so, then just check the master plan of DDA(delhi development authority) from 1960s, we did that, the results were shocking.

There was a ancient hanuman mandir, which was demolished to make way for this temple for the rich and affluent of the society. Do you know, Akshardham Temple is built on banks of Yamuna river whereas any concrete construction is banned on the river plane. A massive concrete structure right on the banks of the river will reduce the ground water levels in the city.
