Javquisoft's tooll called Dora Upgrade tooll inserts a code into the phone when performing upgrade.

This upgrading is done online and if we set another than primary phone it won't work.

The problem is problably it wont fit to you phone...

I will explain better- There are at least 60 different firmware and most of them don't match each other..

So there's a risk to those firmware don't fit in your phone and worst leave it bricked..

I think is better spend 15 bucks and get subrscribed there...

Problably IMEI error.

Download IMEI TOOL from internet(it's free) follow tool's instructions to see if you can fix it..

the vids ive seen with the 5 page menu dont have sciphone come up when you turn them on so it is not official sciphone i68+ version 4.0.

ive ordered i68+ and it comes with 3.0a so i dont really think its worth upgrading if i have to get a special cable? if theres a way to do it with normal usb cable i might give it a whizz.

Sorry to say that... So it's not possible extract/insert firmware into the phone without flash cable.

Regular USB cable will not work.

V4 from javquisoft has an ability to install or change wallpapers and ringtones using installer icon. And in near future all updates released won't use flash cable anymore, we just use installer icon.

If you go to "pcshch" he has a sciphone i68+ video showing 5 menu screens under 4.0 version. I wonder if the new sciphones are just being made that way from the factories now.

Trust me This firmware you mentioned is the worst I ever seen.

We can not modify anything in that firmware. Now I have 5 phones waiting for javquisoft 4.1 release to modify it.(I think it's only choice, or option to change it).

Well, about this firmware there is a little disapointment in the air! As you seen the only visual change is wallpapers and one icon (installer) added.

So that's the point. According to Javqui support Team this new icon will be the bridge to another mod files. We won't be using cables to install new firmware anymore. Just get the mod file and install it directly to the phone by using TF card for example. And this is supposed to be the installer icon does for.

All you need is put those files in memory card inside Javquisoft file and than click on installer...
