I'm very disappointed in D&G. Being Asian myself, I find this offensive. It's the same as if they were doing a fashion editorial on Africa and they hired a white model and painted her face and body black. It's one thing to feature clothing influenced by a different culture, but it's another thing to want the model to look like someone from that culture. If you want a girl with an Asian look, hire someone's that's Asian or at least part Asian. I really don't think that's hard to do nowadays.

Actually they use tape in fashion shows quite often just to get more cat-like, fierce eyes - Dior uses it in their shows often. They don't just use asian models in Japan VOGUE, they like to have a mix of models - just like we do over here.
