This is not Digi Haro, this is the original Green Haro that was released after the Digi Haro version.

There's a huge difference between them, Green Haro has a black holder under him (as seen in this video) Digi Haro doesn't. Plus, Digi Haro has a clearer and different voice than the one in this video.

I think I understand what's happening here. Reading a manual for one of the Haro's it seems that if you forcefully wake it up, which you might do without realising, it becomes purposefully unruly. It's probably purposely freezing up and refusing you because of this. Unsure if it "Knows" it has headphones on, maybe it just thinks it's refusing to dance to music.
