I love Call of Duty and I am certainly pre ordering Modern Warfare 3, but i'm not wasting my money with hardened or prestige edition like I did with Black Ops. I don't see how people could hate it so greatly though, it's a lot of fun and it has a great story line.

Heres why their wrong. #1-Not every game has to be realistic. #2-Take my favorite franchise, Gran Turismo. What do they do for each GT? New Cars, Updated Handling Engine, Better Graphics, New Menu, New Music. What does CoD do? New Guns, New Modes, Better Graphics, ect. I don't see many GT haters. And CoD doesn't need a new engine. It's not realistic.

oh and how the hell is modern warfare 2s plot not creative?! im pretty sure its been copied by almost every franchise now including arma, the arma 3 campaign will include an americia under attack. sounds alot like mw2 to me. so dont start the non creative bull shit because arma 2 deffentally doesnt have the best plot by far.

@98RamMagnum The people who make movies want their stories to be awesome, as do the people who make games, so the stories turn out somehow similar, but they are not really similar/"copied" just because they have many elements in common - and every new release includes a new story and improved technology, which sure makes it worth producing, buying and using.

@sirjefferson9001 Well there's a few missions cut directly from The Rock, the shower in the Gulag scene, and the scene where you're lighting flares to call off the airstrike on the whitehouse. The wolverines mission is a tribute to Red Dawn(though that doesn't count in the conversation).

at least modern warfares AI doesnt feel it nessecery to crawl every where they go, never take cover when they need to, endlessly throw themselves into your line of fire, or do other stupid things like that. Arma 2 is a great game but it just has no chance agianst an industry giant like modernwarfare. ya the games a little unrealistic but hay i play games to have an epic time, not spend 30 min just getting to my objective only to have my squad run right into the enemys fire.
