i never had anything against ressurection, it has its flaws but i never thought it was that bad, the only one's that i didnt like much were 5 which i dont hate but thought it was pretty weak, 6 was pretty bad and both of the rob zombie films were awful.

In my opinion they are all pretty much the same.

Except, Halloween 1978 is my favourite, and probably H2 RB is my least favourite. Season of the witch doesn't have michael, and shouldn't be in the series.

I don't understand all the hate for RB's first remake though, i think it's pretty good.

They same with 4 and 5. They seem just the same thing again though.

H20 is pretty slow for a while but is still very good, the ending made me thinking, how is there another one, oh, it's not him....

@theblehguy1 The main reason i didnt like the remake was that the original was built on suspense. And then near the end you get the big killing scenes and stuff. Howver the remake was like this, gore then nudity then more gore, a bit more nudity and then finish it off with more gore.

@SausageBoyReviews Rob Zombie is the only responsible for destroying Halloween franchise. With his vision in the first movie he started all, but with the sequel he definitely kills this popular franchise.

Maybe he's a good musician, who cares, but to be honest, Rob Zombie is one of the worst horror filmmakers...........Dimension Films has made a huge mistake taking him as director and screenwriter, and now nobody can correct his mistakes and nobody can save this destroyed franchise

@EkkiTv i hated h2 but i personally think his remake was good i mean most people like you have been attached to the original series for so long that you wont acccept the new ones as good movies. i also liked daeg faerch as young michael. i also like the recasting of danielle harris to the series and malcolm mcdowell did excellent as loomis. i also believe i like 2007 more because i saw it before 1978 but all in all, i love all halloween movies and many many other horror movies. take care.

@EkkiTv i agree but there is a way to save the original franchise if you remember in halloween 6 michael never gets the baby so its still alive which still gives him the motivation to kill which to me sounds like they should make a movie on that to continue the franchise or start fresh with someone new but still keeps true to the laurie story or jamie story

Halloween 4 is given a bad rep because it's linked to the two shittiest movies of the franchise, 5 and 6. However, Halloween 4 on it's own is frickin awesome and is my favorite sequel. The original Halloween 2 had so much potential but Carpenter fucked it up by writing it while drunk and choosing Rick Rosenthal to direct.

I actually liked Halloween 5. It's my third favorite Halloween film, tied with Halloween II (1981). It's extremely underrated. Danielle Harris's acting was amazing for being a little girl!
