  • MARK REST IN PEACE!

  • RIP MARK!

  • MANN LOVE THIS SONGG

  • Quality sucks, but does this song?

    No, it fucking rocks!

  • Riot kicked ass!!

  • I had all thier albums and like voyager says- everyone know quiet riot- only the true know These cats. They rocked my world back then.

  • The only time Fire Down Under came off the turntable was on rare occasion and High and Dry got a little time on there. A little time...

  • Saw them open for Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush and Triumph in Wichita Falls, TX. 1981. Got Narita, Rock City and Fire Down Under afterwards then Restless Breed & Born In America. Would like to see the original RIOT again. American Rock!

  • @KilpatientMD

Not possible, unfortunately. Guy Speranza passed away from cancer and Rhett Forrester was killed in a carjacking :-(

  • Pure rock & roll man!!!!!!

  • i recorded this off the radio on a cassette 30 years ago , it took me about 10 years to come up with a name of the song & band so i could a better copy--great song

  • Riot LIVE is BREATHTAKING!!! Top 3 all-time. Ozzy, AC/DC and Riot!

  • Immensi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @esthero99 - Agree 100% Guy was so good.

  • may this era live again!

  • One of my favorite bans of all time. Fire Down Under has to be one of the best records ever and doesn't get any credit.

  • @DeadLake69 absolutely what an awesome album they deserve more credit, but WE know how good they are!!

  • Guy Speranza. One of the greatest and underated rock vocalists.

    R.I.P.

  • This absolutely rules. \m/

  • R.I.P Guy!

  • I love his Voice,eternally remembered

  • RIOt GRANDE !!

  • Why these guys never made it in the states I'll never figure out.

  • Magnificent \,,/

  • Love the traditional hold on the drum sticks! A lost art in R-n-R...

  • Was happy to have met these guys thru San Antonio Legendary D.J. "The Godfather," Joe Anthony Yunussi. Saw them with the original lineup and later with Rhett Forester.

  • What ever happen 2 these guyz? They roxed!! ;-P

  • @rikkisogazgf Like many bands, they had two really good albums, Narita and the classic Fire Down Under. They kept releasing albums throughout the years to declining sales. Most of the later albums weren't so hot, Thundersteel from the latter eighties being the exception.

  • @gapedhok

The first album had some great rock tunes. The title track 'Rock City' is a classic. 'Warrior' is absolutely amazing.

  • @eltel22 You are correct sir. I gave Rock City and Warrior a re-listen this morning.

  • is there anything better, I mean I mean....god damn

  • GUY SPERANZA!!! Der wohl beste Sänger den RIOT hatte! RIOT sind eine MEGA-Hammerband! Schade das sie es nie zu einem richtigen internationalen durchbruch geschafft haben......

  • Saw them with Rhett. Wish I could have seen Guy. This is the real deal.

  • si regresara Guy Esperanza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great song! great band! heavy metal will never die!!

  • I bought the Fire Down Under album when it came out. Someone stole it at a party. I had to scour the internet to replace it on CD a few years ago. Truly a classic record. A must buy...

  • Love it. I was at this show . Thanks for posting it

  • pure and fuckin' amazing HEAVY METAL!!!!!!

  • anyone know where i can download this concert can only find old links that dont work

  • when you tell someone riot kicks ass and then they say "who, quiet riot?" you sock them in the face and say no riot bitch!

  • @voyager71390 LMAO!

  • @record1207 This is MUSIC!!!

  • @voyager71390 Every time I try to turn someone on to Riot they ask that very thing....who? Quiet Riot. I grew up in Cleveland in the 70s and 80s.... no posers please!!!

  • @voyager71390 Agree!!!! :D

  • It don't get much better

  • I'm 18 now and I learned of Riot after watching a video for Restless Breed on VH1 classic. They also played Bloodstreets a lot. Recently, I bought Fire Down Under from iTunes. One of the finest hard rock albums I've ever heard. This song might be my favorite off the album...I like all the songs! Oh, and R.I.P. Guy! Great singer!

  • Yes, Guy had the ultimate hard-rock voice. And yes "Fire down Under" is incredible!

  • I just had a momemt,...I think this is why I am today,...

  • FUCK YEAH!!!

  • School Of Rock, Metal 101, indeed! lol I was 16 years old in high school when Fire Down Under was released in 1981. Lemme tell you guys.....this particular album and Fastway's debut record with the song "Say What You Will" are two of the most over-looked, kick-ass hard rock/heavy metal records of the early 80's. The guitar riffs, the hooks, the song writing, all stellar and way above average. Great stuff, man. Guns 'N Roses pulled that off with Appetite For Destruction, as well in 1987.

  • Hell yes! I agree totally! As a matter of fact my band is working on both of those covers right now! I think it's time to reintroduce Riot to the masses.

  • great band...i love thier music

  • I never understand why I was the only kid in HS that knew anything about this band. Of course I lived in Kentucky and in the 80's they liked two types off music here: Country and Western.

  • Very underrated band back in the 80's. Fire Down Under is still a great album to listen today, every dam song is awesome.

Good stuff.. thanks for the vid!

  • I agree....every cut. Solid.

  • This album should be required learning for anyone taking Metal 101...classic american metal!

  • Fire Down Under should be in everyones music collection. Still strong to this day.

  • When i drive my Camaro and listen to this song loud, i feel like i wanna break the speedometer and have a few police cruisers chasing me. This song is awesome. RIOT RULES!!!!!

  • hell y shoulda heard this live

  • Wow!! Me Too!!!! But I drive a Peugeot 206!! Heheheheh...

  • This era of Riot should have been huge.Albums Fire Down Under and Narita are all time Hard Rock Classics.

  • yeah both Guy and Rett are gone...saw Riot with Rhett at the santa monica civic and a few times after that with different singers....RIOT....shit THESE DUDES Rule!!!! R.I.P. brothers

  • ya me too this band was great they played with poison and loudness

  • wierd dude i was just listening to riot outlaw on youtube a diiferent post!!!!, not sure how this works... wierd...anyway i have about 10 copies of this LP Fire Down Below....this album will be buried with me in my grave NO BUKKSHIT!!!

  • the same album...ten duplicates??? Haa haa... there are ppl like me .... I also have 13 copies of DEATH - Scream Bloody Gore. Not boasting. Just tell you I am your kind of guy although interest in music genre is different. But I have two heavy metal oriented albums of Riot: Thunder steel and Priviledge of Power.

  • i also have around 10 copies of Fire Down Under, 6 or 7 of narita, 6 rock city. Fire Down Under is my favorite album of all time still to this day!!!

  • Dude you wouldnt mind letting me buy 1 album off you would you? no joking.

  • Any one on sale?

  • did guy pass away? i dont know anything about him,,i grew up listening to fire down under and narita,,there no vocalist like Guy ,,wish there were more videos

  • yea this fuckin rocks!!!

  • to be in High school again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude correction riot is still the band.and the thundersteel era formation is back and working on a cd

  • underated underated underated!!! awesome awesome awesome!!!! riot were the dogs bollocks with guy RIP...

My brother saw these early 80s supporting Saxon..Riot supporting saxon hahaha...riot wiped the floor with saxon...one of best rock bands ever!!!

  • Saw these guys the first time, opening for Rush! They blew me away then, & it still holds up!!!

Guy..... You're still the man! RIP

  • A massive track of my youth !

  • This band bring back so many memories. Thank you so much for posting. They still sound awesome today. So under-rated it defies belief. Guy Speranza was a superb vocalist and Mark Reale a gifted and tasteful lead guitarist. All in all - Awesome! RIP Guy.

  • My FAVORITE Riot song!! Outlaw!!!!

  • Fantastic Band, AND the best line up, playing a song from their best album!

  • if i were stranded on an island with a guitar, amp and one album, this would be the album. got it in 81' and its the biggest influence on my playing style.I vow to bring this music back to the front line and show the world once again what real rock is all about.RIOT RULES, AMEN!!!

  • wow!!! this has always been my "deserted island" album also. still the best album ever.

  • I would have a hard time choose from "Narita" and "Fire Down Under" !!!

  • I paid almost $100 for a rare CD import version. What's funny is during the 90s, I lived, worked and partied in Narita Japan.

  • Right now the German import version with the five extra tracks is going for about $23.00 US + shipping on eBay and Amazon. I just got the same version off of eBay for $13.50 + $3.00 shipping=$16.50 US.

  • GODLY !! RIOT !!!!!

  • Saw riot open up for rush in new jersey. I think sandy and guy were from morris town nj by me. I heard guy became a mailman. I saw sandys band after he was out of riot in a small club called the shaow place in dover nj. They we horrible. After the show i asked him to go back to riot. What a dumb thing to say. Even for a 16 year old kid.

  • Guy Speranza got frustrated with the music industry and quit to work for his fathers N.Y. exterminator business.About 5 years ago Anthrax was looking for a new lead singer and heard where Guy was at and tracked him down and offered him a job and he stated he hates the music industry and turned him down.Which in one way I'm glad, the quality of his singing is too good for anthrax. I have the entire live show from 1981 it was recorded at a private radio party.

  • The industry is truly full of bloodsuckers. Many people of talent have to much integrity to sell their soul. Guy was great.

  • Iread guy passed away from pancreatic cancer years ago,can anyone confirm this?

  • Guy & Rhett are both gone. To bad,...they were both top singers.

  • Kick FUKIN ASS!!!!

  • OMFG..I used to listen to this when I was 15yrs old..now 42. Awesome album! Brings back gr8 memories. Thx for posting.

  • AWESOME Song ... One Of Their Very BEST ... Thx 4 Posting this. S.A

  • I have their albums and also found Riot as a very good band. Speranza had a great voice, different from any one else. After he left, it was not the same anymore - thanks for posting these old videos.

  • I totally agree, they weren't as good without Guy. I like Narita espacially.

  • know these guys & dis song- thanx to helen for turning these boyz on.

  • craig knight's song.......JJ

  • Mark Reale (& his les paul, of course...) rulez!!!

    there are italian boyz ;)

  • Oh And Your Friend Knows MARK..He would HAVE NEVER tolerated ANY BULL SHIT!!! Especially when it came to someone trashing his buddy. PEACE!!

  • hey bro i only said it was a rumor

  • hey i said it was a rumour i didnt say it was true foo

  • buy there new album they r still good

  • i love riot but THUNDERSTEEL is their best album

  • Hey Steve...When you going to pay these Guy's or did they kick you out of N.Y. See the old stuff is being remastered..but they won't see a dime!!!

  • It's called fucked up management!!! That's why they never made it big. How do you play MAJOR venues back to back and come home with nothing to show for it. These Guy's got ripped bad..That's why they got pissed off and QUIT. TRUTH!!!

  • mortellle cette chanson ! toute ma jeunesse ! encore !

  • the best song from the best band ever

  • i prefer the later version of riot with mike dimeo.from nightbreaker one of my all time favourite cd ever

  • This is an evergreen masterpiece; perfect for driving to the beach! i love this tune, a three chords song, but it sticks to your brain like sausage grease to a cooker! thumbs up forever, in the year 14785 it'll still be huge!

  • these guys are great...haha stumbled upon their name on some japanese tv show paul gilbert was on, he played one of their songs.

  • I knew these guys from marine park brooklyn

  • Fire Down Under is in my top 5 albums all time.

  • Love these guys!! Guy has one of the most original voices!! It always has to be the gifted ones to leave us behind. FUCK!!!!! RIP Guy....

  • RIP Guy and Rhett

  • What a killer band. They get absolutely no credit whatsoever.

  • I live in mexico and i think riot is the best band of rock.

  • where you from riot fan

  • From Xalapa Veracruz Mexico.

  • Fire Down Under is one of the best hard rock albums ever made. Released (or at least reviewed in Sounds (for you UK readers!)) the same month as Pyromania. There is no justice!!

  • Please tell me where I get this vid.

  • riot is the very best im a new member and have never seen riot like this

  • flash..i saw these guys back in 81 ..in san antonio..mark reale (lead guitar)..was very popular to the metal scene out here..great sounds back then..still have my original tape of fire down under...its freakin 26 yrs old!

  • dude I think they lived before thier time is this all there is out there

  • these guys where very influencial in my bass playin days(81-87) fire down under is one the greatest lp's ever...rest in peace guy...mosh on

  • these guys are the best ever since i started hearing rock

  • Riot SHOULD have been popular here in the states, but unfortunatley another band of lugans with a name that resembled theirs became famous and overshadowed Mark and the real Riot. some of the best American metal bands came from New York like Riot, Metallica (after they moved from CA), Sir Lord Baltimore, and last but not least KISS.

  • Wow. I didn't think anybody knew of Riot here in the states. One of my fave records was "Made in America". Anyone remember? I want to say this song was from that album. I don't think this is Rhett Forrester singing though, is it? Hey- Thanks for posting this!

  • Oh yearh, lots of fans from Denmark. Riot rocked

  • Saw these guys open for Rush at the Hartford Civic Center supporting this album 5th row. It was near the end as Guy quit soon afterward. This album was and is great.

  • Christ I thought I as the only one left who saw that show....LOL

  • I was at the Hartford show also ... totally pissed because I missed the first few songs! My band used to cover Road Racin' back in the day. Narita is still my fave album. First song I ever heard was "Hot For Love" on WNHU (college radio) Metal Night.

  • thanx 4 the memories,i saw this line up give Saxon a run 4 their money in 82

  • You must have more of this tape.

  • These guys were the first band i saw...Glasgow Appollo 1980..supporting Sammy Hager,It was pure LES PAUL into a MARSHALL heaven..my ears have never been the same!!!

  • I always liked the Reale,Ventura,Speranza line up, Fire Down Under was one of my favorite and one of their best albums,Great Band, thnx for sharing, anymore?

  • Great stuff! I remember seeing them back then...great band!

  • The greatest unknown (to some) band ever. Thanks so much for posting.

  • =) Love them to death!

  • awesome !! the killer fire down under line-up as well. i didn't know any video's existed of this line-up very, very cool !

  • wow! thanks for sharing! I recall seeing a vid of Riot in the early days of MTV of a live performance of 'Restless Breed.' back when MTV played vids...and good, vids of more obscure bands.
