its weird how shotgun is up that fire road after the end of flow. the first time that i went on that trail i got lost and couldnt find shotgun, it really sucked. haha!
yeah the berm on shotgun is an awesome addition, now you can carry your speed through to the drop ahead, unfortunatly it was soo windy they closed the gondolas on the mountain
well they said there were 85mph winds at the top so they shut down the gondola, so all we did was ride from mainlodge down the trails to town and took the shuttle back up.
what a bummer. u werent even able to mccoy station cuz it was to windy? jeeze that is pretty windy if u ask me. the windiest that its been when i was there was like 50 and that was pretty cazy. i couldnt imagine 85. well i guess that that means ull just have to go back up sometime. im going to try and get up there on the closing weekend. hope its not to windy...
nice. i ask just cuz i jacked myself up pretty good on the flow drop last year from having to bail out. just wanted to make sure that u didnt have the same problem.
well i was getting ready to go over the edge just like i had many times before but for some reason on this run i lost control as i was starting to go over the edge. so i had to ditch over my handlebars and that put me like 10+ feet in the air, cuz the drop itself is 6, and when i landed i tried to roll out of it but with my fullface helmet and my camleback it made it a bit awkward and so i landed on my shoulder and snapped my collar bone in several places. plus the usual cuts and scrapes...
POV 1, but what really makes the difference is your encoder settings. I down loaded the free 30 day ulead program and experimented with all there options. Dont use the auto feature, quality is bad, use the zume 640 x 480 codec and do a manual upload. Youtube now supports this higher resolution. I always post my videos private first because it takes a few days for the high quality option to be a available and I want my subscribers to see the better version first.
haha mamomoth looks just as awesome in the summer

shotgun is fun too, I'll have to post a cam of that trail next time. They just added a new berm on it too.

yeah its pretty fun to hit. especially cuz theres a nice little jump going into it that u can launch off of straight into the berm. its pretty fun.

did u screw ur bike up or urself up on that fall?
CrzyScottsman 3 years ago
haha
not that i was aware of
once i bailed, my bike went off to the side and tumbled one
and then i landed a little crooked and fell on my side and slid down all the wooden planks, it was beautiful
